  1. I know any exhaust place can do it just wanted somewhere recommended to try and avoid getting ripped off, probably should have been more specific, my bad
  2. Any other recommendations? Anyone been to one of the places in fyshwick?
  3. I was considering but its got no rego and I will be in Sydney, give me a couple weeks and I'm up for anything. Cheers for the reply too
  4. Hi I just bought a ke70 and the exhaust is hitting on the body of the car so it makes a really bad vibration noise. According to the old owner it needs to be heated up and moved over a bit I couldn't say myself if its true if not, the point is can anyone recommend an exhaust place preferably in fyshwick.
  5. Being chrome I'd sat they wouldn't be too dishy so u would more than likely need spacers, also depends on tyres and the width of the rim.
  6. Definitely keen. Got an estimate on price?
  7. If you have standard globes atm they are sealed and you need to buy semi-sealed.
  8. No ke70 :( need an Aussie page.
  9. Lol, I know ACT is using this and NSW and QLD similar but a little different. It's a good start and good guideline in my opinion.
  10. Below is a link to vsb14 (vehicle standards bulletin 14) it goes through in detail the rules and regulations for modifying a vehicle, including engine conversions. From what I have gathered it is what all the states and territories base their rules on ie how big an engine can u put in vehicle X. Not sure if it should have gone here or somewhere else but here it is: http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/vehicle_regulation/bulletin/vsb_ncop.aspx
  11. I agree licensing in this country is sh!t and so are the roads, not a good combination. The roads need to be fixed and maintained and the licensing system completely re-evaluated we don't need to go as far as Switzerland or Finland but its something to work towards, even America has a better licensing system then Aus.
  12. I used to be as stupid p plater, could probably list a whole page of stupid sh!t I did that I'm not proud of I'm just glad I didn't hurt anyone else or their property (also I never drove eradically annoying other people just high speeds and burnouts) it all changed one night when my mate crashed my 300zx doing a burnout :( then to reinforce it a mate died on the roads and he wasn't even being stupid, had a car full doing 80km hour in the wet which was the speed limit, the car aquaplaned he lost control 3 out of the 5 teenagers in the car died. I think thats what it is with p platers they think it can't/won't happen to them or a friend, IT CAN!!!
  13. I have been told they don't weigh much sorry that's a bit vague. In my opinion the slight weight increase would be outdone by the benefit of how much stiffer the car would be not to mention the safety?
  14. Same, you'll just have to check pcd and offset (go like 0 offset if available)
  15. That car is f@!$ing sex... yea those rims are nice, looks great on anything....
  16. I believe they are Rota shakotans, check his thread, that's his car.
  17. Hi all, I'm chasing some stock sort of seat for my ke30 anything that bolts in really doesn't have to be from a ke30 as long as its cheap and just bolts in, reason being I'm selling my ke30 and wanna pull the buckets out, preferred colour is brown or black but anything will do
  18. Looks good from the photo, I'd even be tempted lol
  19. Depends on which ones you buy, a lot of coilovers come with adjustable strut tops, you'll have to ask when you buy them but yours should work.
  20. With some work yes, best thing to do is up grade brakes while your there, use the search tool as it will show plenty of options and peoples experience of what is works well.
  21. Good luck
  22. Rota shakotans and aleica's look good. Cheviot anything lol. Check the build threads on here there's a lot of ke70s and I dare say non would have standard wheels...
  23. Service history would be first thing, a mate had one and it was really good til he ran it without oil for a while :S As with most cars if its been well looked after it will be a good car, look for signs of abuse/neglect (weird sounds, car isn't clean, general things like that), check if it due for major service any time soon as I believe they aren't cheap. Good luck
  24. Benefit of stock vs modified I guess. That is a valid point that I never thought of but that is the rules in NSW according to peter smith engineering: http://www.psmitheng.com.au/index.html
  25. Really? Ways the point then lol? Sorry if that's a bit dumb/ignorant
