  1. not that i know anything about webbers or compression or anything technical like that but i use to have an ae92 sedan 1991 model and that had a 4afc, if that says anything i don't know :P
  2. the diff was 180 or 250 for the whole axle inc new shocks, so i got that the axle will be goin in tomorrow! came off a car that was a front write off, 1 owner 170.000 k's, the reason i got the whole axle was becuase the left bearing was on the way out and the pads in the drum brakes needed replacing so why not! kill 3 birds with 1 stone :)
  3. Thanks Nick for the welcome, nothing would surprise me with this car lol... prolly done wrong but i hope to pick up some low kingers for the front very shortly as soon as the new axle goes in! hopefully that will make a bit of a difference. i saw the car up on the hoist and the springs were just dangling off the top of the strut, which is a bit of a worry and i think thats why it bounces around corners! cheers Nick..
  4. hi guys, just picked up a KE30 about a week ago and i blew the diff up today :D how much should a new one cost me? the car has got a few issues which will be fixed eventually but she's not gonna go anywhere now without a diff ;) any replies would be great! Cheers Nick..
  5. ah right, so it may not be the cut springs that the person before me had, i was gonna get some kings lows for it but i may not bother now..
  6. hey guys this is my first post here as i have just sold my ae92 sedan and just bought a ke30 1978 4 door sedan! it handles and goes like nothing like the ex car did but i have a question about the suspension in it... the people before me didn't care about the car basically they cut the springs and havn't maintained the engine in it, it has a 5k 5 speed in her with a 2" exhaust and a dumper but anyway back to the suspension. when you go hard around a corner, when you are just exiting the corner the whole car flings to the opposite side, very hard to control if you are going fast enough or not paying attention. not sure if its the tyres that are on the car, springs or what.. anyone have any ideas?? cheers Nick
