  1. Sure will. Be aware that both the inlet and exhaust ports will be bigger than the manifold runners though. As I said earlier 7kc are the same size.
  2. Not cool, hope it turns up in one piece. Immobilisers are a must for old toyotas!
  3. 100rwkw on 10psi a few years ago. Road tuned it a couple of months ago, i'd guess about 120-130 now. Click "tar"in my signature.
  4. Just find a cheap but half decent aftermarket ecu for $200-300.... Then you'll actually hasn't tunability! Get a wolf 3d v4 and ill send you a map!
  5. You won't even have to space a mount!
  6. Check with a local engine builder. There's was once rumour on here that you could no longer get 5k d dish pistons.... A quick check on the computer system at my local proved that very wrong quickly. You'll find some easy, they're the same as 4k.
  7. Its all in the shims in a 55 borgy unfortunately. Maybe try rearranging them and see if you can't get it any better. Otherwise if its been apart before maybe the shims weren't put back in their correct sides.
  8. Lol just stuck my had under the front of my zuk.... You'll be fine.... There is no cross member to hit! I'd be more worried about the front of the sump hitting the front diff but that's a matter of ride height really.
  9. 7ke inlet ports are close to 3kbp - 7ke are oval and 3kbp are round. 7ke exhaust ports are also bigger. 7kc however have exactly the same size inlet and exhaust ports as 3k/4k/5k. Check your clearance over the crossmember now with the 5k.... If you've got at least 20-30mm around the back of the sump you should be fine. As for the gearbox - bolt your current flywheel and clutch kit onto the 7k and the gearbox will bolt straight up. ;)
  10. http://www.camtechcams.com.au/toy_4cyl_3k4k.html Second biggest solid they do.
  11. Cam would be a camtech 609, I have one in dirt. There's specs on there website for them!
  12. No real suprise with a v10 toureg
  13. So little bit of new info.... New owner is apparently a mainlander. As I said, opening meet is 2nd of feb. And $135 entry fee plus andra day licence! Used to be $70 iirc
  14. Correct. Bh is from a km20 liteace, which bolts up with 4 of the w50/40's 6 holes. There's pics in a thread of mine here somewhere - k-w50 in the faq. Cable too. k-w55 etc uses a kr42r bh which is only available in hydro.
  15. What about k-w4/50 and k-w55/6 etc.....which are both stronger options than a t50. A complete setup with bell housing/fork etc (minus actual box) is worth anywhere from $250 - $400 depending on how many are about at the time....and how much someone wants to pay.
  16. Don't know about you ben but I just live here for the inlet air temps! Lol
  17. So apparently the dragway is reopening on the 2nd of february! Guy who own out is going to have a crack at running it himself.
  18. Yeah if I got a decent bb turbz then I would probably want to go a bit bigger with the cam, maybe closer to the 609 with say 116°. Doesn't like/need much more than about 5k rpm at the moment, but that probably also partly cause of the .49.
  19. ....aka catfish!
  20. Lol ah the lack of exhaust brings back memories!
  21. Does your username have anything to do with your location? I could probably find one in the shed in launy if so...wouldn't lock though.
  22. I didn't mean you by 'previous owner'. Twas whoever put the 7k in.
  23. I know who you are now!....spoke to your dad lol
  24. Got a turbo intake rewelded last week so I've finally got my proper snorkel and filter back on now. Got my original fluttery bov sound back now! And really surprised how much it changes boost response - was spiking 17'ish, running 15 psi without, then spiking 22, running about 18 psi with it! Also finally pulled the 7k semi apart, and worked put why it bhg'd..... In the wagon I bought it in, to retain the a/c the previous owner has swapped the 3k double crank pulley onto the 7k. All good.....apart from the fact that the pulley and timing marks don't line up. :rolls: So end of the day when I timed the motor with the turbo/efi stuff on it, it actually had about 45-50° more timing in it than what I though it had! Might have something to do with why it was a bitch to start and needed 35% more fuel.
  25. Kr42r townace
