Worth noting also Mazda stopped making 12a parts a few years ago

Ring crow in Melbourne, theyll grind to whatever specs you want provided there's enough meat on the bone. The lady there who answers the phone would have forgotten more about camshafts than most of us will ever know!

Does the ecu have an a/c request wire? My wolf does to compensate for the extra load of the compressor kicking in.

32/36 Idle Issue - Can't Find Problem - Egr Valve?

Tank vacuum? -
For a while they were selling 86 kits with an aftermarket cast lower stub section as you can see in my picture. Apparently they were to expensive to produce so they stopped making them, I luckily got there last set. Overall length would probably still be the same, mine just has more bare thread. Here's another pic..... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=122877

T50 really isn't that much bigger than a k50..... The problem you're going to face though is the ke10 shifter position is even further forward than a 30/55 so regardless of weather you go ķ50 or t50 you're going to have to cut the hole back further. Btw, that k box is actually a k40 not k50.... I know because I took that photo, someone else added the text.

How much extra did they charge you for the lowers with stubs? I bought there last set of normal production ones which were much shorter.
-
Ta22 is the early one which has a ke30-55 shifter position Ae71 and ae86 is the later with a ke70 position 10 tailshafts are probably smaller spline but a 30-55 shaft will also go straight up the bum of the ta22 box

There's nothing in the ncop that states lowering blocks aren't legal!

Current wheels are completely within the flares, the issue it's track. You're only allowed a 25mm track increase. This can be in suspension, wheels or a combination of both and does get enforced and measured pretty hard. With the Alicia's I have 90mm increase. Fyi 30/55's are +35. One option I thought of yesterday was to go with a +20 (which would hopefully clear the coilovers) but take me 5mm over. I could then get some t3 adjustable lca's (albeit expensive) as they can be shortened .25'' (or 6.3mm) a side over stock to bring me smack bang on the 25mm allowable.

No mate, would be just as easy with an sr20det. All comes down to engine capacity relative to weight of the vehicle. Wheels are becoming a nightmare!

Finished work slightly early today and got the chance to go and have a chat with Steve. Really nice guy and very helpful. Great news on most thing. Engine etc easy. ..as I thought it would be. Seats easy, suspension is fine, brakes fine, reckons I could possibly get away with the fuel cell but I will go back to the stock tank. Rest of the fuel setup can be in the boot. The one big hiccup is wheels! More specifically offset. I can get away with 205/50's on a 15. 55's are listed as having a +35 offset, so the furthest you can go is really +25 (cause there's no such thing as a +22.5). That makes me start to worry again that i might have some fouling issues with the coilover rings with a 205. Yes I could apply and pass it with some 185 or maybe 195, but whatever I use will be what it's listed on the mod plate. I figure if the plate says 205/50/15 I'm far less likely to have any future issues if I got pulled over with the alecia's back on.

If you could that would be great. The xx being the only corolla with a factory wheel option essentially dictates what anybody with a ke3x/5x can run width wise. Edit - delayed reply. Still would like to see some xx specific info.

Yep. Pozza only just told me yesterday about the notorious Kingston biker cop. Nah reshell would be a ʞ©$ɟ load more work than making it all legal.

Hey mate, do you still have the tyre placard on the under side of your boot lid? I want to know what the suggested tyre size is for the factory option alloys was?
-
If I didn't have the tank that I pulled out of the wreck last year I might consider other options to try and keep the cell, but that just makes it the cheap and easy solution. I'll go and see the engineer on Tuesday and see what his opinion is. I wouldn't have a problem sealing the boot from the cabin. After having a good discussion with pozza today and re reading some if the ncop I really need to find out what the widest possibly suggested tyres were. I'm really hoping maybe the xx with factory alloys had something wider than 155's. Otherwise the widest tyre you can legally run on a 55 is a 195 on a 7.5'' (with 60 or smaller profile) wheel.

So just stuck my head under the back. There really is bugger all room for an under car system on the drivers side. Ideally needs to be a custom shaped surge tank to try and get decent capacity. It can be in the boot if it's in a sealed box can't it?

Like I said I've been contemplating going back to a stock fuel tank, so that will fix the internal filler issue. Been looking at aftermarket level senders and gauges too as I no longer have the original gauge. Will get a carter lift pump, use the brand new 044 I have and get a new surge tank and mount it all under the car. Sort wish i had of just bought the 15x8 0 alecias when I git them, with 205 rubber all round they would have complied with both track and width rules. For the full road worthy i have to do after mod plating I'll also have to rectify the issue i was pulled over for.... being the fact my Speedo said 90 and apparently I was doing 110. He didn't right new a speeding ticket, must of figured he had me on enough lol. Probably just get some sort of gps Speedo. I wouldn't say the cop was all that cluey. I had to explain a lot to him. He seemed adamant my reversed eyes were illegal. He saw the ecu hand controller, that got the bonnet opened, saw camber tops - that prompted suspension then braking questions. Then wheels. ..blah blah blah

We've always had it, just never really enforced that much. I got away with a few years ago on a Toyotas cruise to campbelltown. Pictures of cops with my car a few pages back. Spent a few hours today at work reading through ncop stuff. All of the engine stuff its pretty straight forward. I think my biggest problems are going to be the fuel cell (been considering going back to a stock tank anyway) and wheel/tyre width and track increase. Couldn't find anything about adjustable coilovers pozza. Not saying it's not going to be an issue though.

So considering I've been running a turbo motor for about 10 years now I can't really complain too much, But...... :bash:
