You hit the nail right on the head there, perfectionist so mum and dad allways call me haha. Thanks man, Dad has been doing the body work and been showing me how to do bits and peices and also the spray painting after me sanding it down and he has spent alot of time and has done a top job, couldnt thank him enough. His mate Bryan is the one to thank for the guards, i couldnt have asked for any better so a big thanks to him. The rest was done and painted by me, interior, front end, engine(with guidance) and all the engine bay parts :) Cheers, trying to keep it as neat and as perfect as possible becuase i plan on doing a few shows here and there. Dad reckons I'm driving him crazy and being stupid cleaning, sanding and painting parts you will never see, but i like having every thing spotless and as good as i can get it and i really enjoy doing it and getting the satisfaction out of it.

Yeah it goes off its tree when you put your foot down, it handles it realy well. The kit is designed especially to fit this type motor. It had to have a bigger fuel pump and water injection put on it for when i comes on to boost but that all come with the kit. When it was first installed it was detonating a bit and actualy chucked a piston on its first test run, but with a bit of fine tuning it was all good.

Cheers

Another one of the old mans builds, just can't keep him away from his toys :no2: This car was brought at an auction as a shell with an engine and interior but no front seats or wheels, just black stockies. So he built it up, put a clubsport body kit on it and a monaro bonnet, a nice set of 18" wheels, dropped it on the ground, gave it a fresh coat of paint and did some work to the motor (yella terra rockers, quick shift kit, extractors and exhaust system). Then he decided to put a c.a.p.a supercharger kit on it, running 10 pound boost getting just over 300 hourse power at the rear wheels. But that was with an automatic gear box. So now he has gone and brought a 5 speed gear box to put in it which will be much better when he gets round to putting it in :rolls: . He is curently busy helping a certin someone out with a ke70 haha  Other mods are steering wheel, gear knob, lumines dash, boost guage, tail lights, head lights and number late panel.

Cheers buddy na they come gun metal grey with a chrome lip so ile just keep them like that, looks sick Na hes not a panel beater, hes been a mechanic for 40 years and has done up alot of cars in his time and has tought him self how to do it. his good mate who flaired the guards is a panel beater and he lends dad all his tools. Actually rubbed the guide coat off today with a big flat block and nothing at all showed up, so it should be pretty frigen streight haha. Hes not a painter either but still painted all around the doors and engine bay and it come out spot on. Have a look at his latest projects, the wb van and the coomadoor http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/51736-1980-holden-wb-panel-van/

Cheers, yeah it heaps of fun, deffinatley put you back in the seat, goes better than we expected because its pretty light. As for the pod, the donar car didnt have a air box so we just but a new pod on it and it. Was thinking of putting a cappa supercharger on it like the one on dads commadoor in the photo, so the pod wont stay there if gets one.
