  1. Very interested mate, waiting on approval of loan.. Will let u know within the week..
  2. Yea no worries mate, ill have to wait till monday though.. And i work on site as maintainance at a factory. Can't use mig or tig cause the gas bottles are too heavy and inpractacal when u have the climb up ladders n everything lol. And wind, impossible to weld mig/tig when it windy and flux cored is shit (gasless).. We don't even own a mig. Just a couple tig's in the workshop.
  3. Was welding fairly thin ss pipe today at work, was using chrome rods forgot the exact name but they were 2.5's.. Was blowing through at the start, ran lower amps about 60-70 and i literally done stop/starts the whole way round on opposite sides to distribute heat.. Worked out good in the end, cleaned it up a bit n looked nice. But just find out the thickness n try to get some scrap and play around till u realise its limits....
  4. Ah ok i see, that proves me wrong. Guess i should have stated that "I think" it would be lighter lol..
  5. Yea i would never do it, or recommend it but if u had no cash the 30 or 3.8 would be an ok option. Then again i bet my money the 30/3.8 would be scrapped for a sr, 4a, ca anyway.. So safe to say no point.
  6. Nah mate none to back it up, was simply adding an opinion which was also a question. Just seemed pretty obvious to me just by eye that the 3.8 would be heavier.
  7. Rb30 ke??? Shit loads lighter than 3800... Think that would be a good cheap upgrade. Unless people have objections?
  8. Went through the members rides for like 6 pages most people had modifications, which is fine i was thinking thats maybe what i had to do to make em fit. Just couldnt find something to relate to.. I got the info i needed now, know what they'll fit with little persuasion. Thanks for the input, your pano looks wild :y:
  9. Awsome i figured i may of had to do that but was unsure, thank god thats all i have to do, really like these rims. Thanks mate will post pictures up in the next few weeks.
  10. Purchasing a set of Enkei Focus Esprit, 14X7 +0, 14X6.5 +10 (4X114.3 obviously) I know they should fit fine but does anyone think ill have any problems with the measurements above??
  11. Bloody hell as if you can fit 10's on stock susspension.. Think I'm gonna search round for 15x8's i reckon.. Maybe 14's though, I'm definately below legal lol.. Also ill roll the gaurds to suit. Any pictures of your fitment? Really wanna see how different width and dia sit and look on stock susspension.. (sounding like a broke record now)
  12. Will do mate, ill have more of a look now..And thanks, atleast i have an actual size to go off of now.
  13. Oh ok, so i should have no problem with 15X8 0's just a bit of a gaurd roll to suit? So no strut rubbing or any problems while full lock?. Also how much neg camber (front) would u feel could be safe with 15X8's? *Sorry for the questions i just want to do it right the first time lol*
  14. Hey guys, just wondering what size wheels you have got on your *e7*... As in how wide, offset, diameter and what you had to do to make em fit. Sorry if there is already a thread couldn't find one. Basicly I'm trying to answer my own question of how wide i can go on a stock ke70 with choppies (15x7 challengers?)or what needs to be done to fit them. But also thought it would be usefull for others to see what fits e7's with or without modification etc and what needs to be done.. So post up your pics and specs and lets see if this thread works lol.. Cheers Mick
  15. Anyone know of a pretty much bolt in replacement? Sorry guys didnt wanna make another thread...
