  1. Looks sweet as, wish I still had mine!
  2. They call him Backyarder. Its a monster of a car and he's hoping to be in the 9's soon from what I have read. My AE82 Twinky winds off the clock, but it takes a while to get there!
  3. We use it by the sheet at work and throw out pieces about the right size for the job. Might have some 1mm stuff lying around thats not scratched...
  4. Got it! Thats gambling for ya! ROLLLA, it is a bit far from everything, but thats where I'm leavin from! There will be a meeting point somewhere... GZE82, do you have it yet?
  5. Might not be of any help, but my AE82 twin cam rolla does this with the stock computer. I was told it is possible an earthing problem... Like I said, it might be of no help at all but might be worth a look. Jarrad
  6. Haha, and you probably only had to drive around the block like that! I had to drive to melb from Mildura (about 600km) like that! The only way to over take was to slap it back to third. I used 80litres of fuel on the trip to, I usually use half that.
  7. If you can get to deer park theres a seat for ya! Thats if you can stand the exhaust note of my rolla... gonna be fun on a long trip without the baffle! What were you doin to win money? Still a couple of weeks left for more takers.
  8. Ok, I disconected it and blocked it off, no difference, so there is a problem. For something different i ran a vacume line from the throttle body to the tvis line which made it a pleasure to drive in traffic again! I reconected it all the way its supposed to be thismorning and its working again. Might have been a blocked/disconnected line after all. lammi, are you still running the tvis with the bigger cams? how does it go either way? Thanks for your help everyone.
  9. sounds like a plan, thanks. I will check the lines once I get it on a hoist, I'm not even gonna try to get to it otherwise! What a pain of a spot! Thanks again, Jarrad
  10. Theres an orange ke30ish two door I keep seeing at Calder Park. I havent seen it race but it does bloody well in the burnouts! It gets driven there and they throw some 13inch stockies on it and have a ball, then they drive it home.
  11. Hi, I have a problem with my AE82 Twin Cam rolla. The car has lost almost all low down grunt. It still runs as per usual above 4400rpm, and will still rev cleanly to redline but anything below that point is just a joke. From taking off at traffic lights to overtaking, its almost dangerous Has anyone had this problem before? I was thinking that the TVIS butterflies are stuck open? Any ideas?
  12. No one else interested?
  13. Yeah I'm interested! Bit of a drive from Deer Park, but then I was up for the last run! Just need details on time, lunch etc. Might have to wash the Twinky! Jarrad
  14. TheNOBBLER@hotmail.com If you see this nick anywhere else its probably me, so say g'day!
  15. how'd you go Tiger? find anything cheaper? I'm interested, skidpans are a blast.
  16. Finally back online... anyway, what about a cruise to the drags at Calder or somethin? can be done almost any friday night then and its easy to organise. Just for a quick fix...
  17. I was talking to some guys that are mates with the creator of Drag Tag and they couldnt get over how mad it was. Its supposed to be a mad way to get out on the "race track" without the danger... not that the drags are that life threatening. From what I was told it bloody awesome and anyone can race
  18. After reading what Jay had to say the day and turnout has started to make sense. I for one didn't realise that the day was organised by Toymods, but in light of this I would like to say job well done. Jay, I think we met on the day? I might be mistaken, but either way I think that inter club mingling is still a good idea, don't let this event put you off this in the future. It was good to meet others from around the traps. I will be looking forward to the next RollaClub meet, and will also be looking forward to some interclub events. Jarrad
  19. That 82 was bloody nice! Might have to clean mine up a bit! Woulda loved to have gone for a run in it to see the difference to my twinky. I agree it was still a good event as I was able to mingle with some other groups as well, but a rollaclub only event might be the way to go next time. Hey muller, that wagons sweet, better make an early start on that one! And nice to meet you too mate. As for the lift home Tiger, any time...
  20. I'm going to be late, but I can bring backups if you like??? Maybe some more drinks?
  21. Sorry, forgot to re-check the departure point/time. Will be at the bricklayers then. This makes it much easier to make it in time from Sunshine. Sounds great.
  22. We will just have to make the most of it, it sounds like it will be great regardless of the weather. You can still count me in, but I will probably have to meet over at chady. Should just make it before 12!
  23. Would it be worth organising rollaclub stickers for the day? It would be good to be able to tell the rollaclub crew apart from the rest? Just a thought...
  24. Before jumping into anything I will get the fault codes checked. The process of elimination begins...
  25. Sounds good! I'm not completely up to date with the new ms, so I will have to get stuck into it. Thanks
