  2. Your right muller, springnats will probably be it. I'm just getting things cracking for the next run... have to get some interest!
  3. Thats not a bad idea Cam, might be a bit quick for people but I am interested in a run... I'm always interested! Icecream hey.. how about a run to krispy creams?
  4. Thanks very much Beerhead, answered all of my questions. I can tell you that the 20valve box uses equal length drive shafts, so I will need custom ones made up according to the drive shaft place I went to. I'm thinking I will just use my existing box with the new engine, it should hold up ok? Just another question, will the bigport flywheel bolt up to the 20valve engine? Or would I be better off using the larger diameter flywheel? Also, is it the AE92 clutch from the 4age engine thet needs to be used? I am assuming they changed the flywheel diameter to the larger one in this model? Thanks again for you help. Jarrad
  5. Well, time to get the juices flowing again.... What would everyone like to do next? Lets throw some ideas into the hat and see what we pull out... J.
  6. Hi, I have recently bought a Silver top 20 Valve for my '82 twincam which also came with a 5 speed box. I had planned on using my original box but now I'm interested in using the silvertop box. I assume this has been done/tried before but I can't find any info on it. What do others using a 20valve use? Is it worth using the 20Valve box? Also is the clutch the same as any aus spec corolla? Can it and/or the flywheel be used with my original box? I have searched the web (and this site) but can't find what I am after, so I thought I would ask some questions... Thanks for you help, Jarrad
  7. Haha, I knew what he meant! I am putting 5 stromies on my slant six in my rod... that should be fun!
  8. You would need something like a 185/60/14 on those to fit... or something of a similar size. They should fit pretty sweet.
  9. Sounds about right ancullen, if that is the case a 7agze might go alright? Time to google... Glad to hear that your problems are coming to an end (hopefully) soulsearcher.
  10. Gee I wish I was up that way! Nothing of the sort in Melb, which is a shame... Well, we do have the Easternats but its mainly VL dominated. Thanks for the pics...
  11. Well, I have to say I will be heading to the next Drift meet on the 25th of October! Was well worth the $20 entry fee despite the cold and there was even a GZE powered AE71 fangin around the track! I would have pics but I forgot my camera, sorry! There were about two dozen cars and around 250 spectators with a domino's delivery car making runs in and out all night... a sight to be seen. Hope this generates some more interest, as I said, its well worth heading out to. Jarrad.
