  1. Here I am thinkin,, "late Novermber, is he nuts? Thats ages away!". Then I realise its almost mid October! Bugger.. the year has gone again! Ok ok... I can wrestle the big Val around some corners, just don't let me lead or we will be gone for a few weeks :D
  2. Hahaha, you guys are shockers.... hope its only your logins that you share...
  3. Well, thats why this is up for discussion Mick, don't want you guys and gals to have to make that trip again unless your keen! Mind you... you wouldnt have to take the scenic route this time! hehe.. oh, and you would be there for longer instead of getting there, setting up and then heading home again... would like to appologise again for that, didnt turn out to well for you lot! And also, I'm glad you may be back in mate.
  4. Paul... you know what the Vals are like around corners! Well... I'm still undecided! Maybe we could do both? Would be similar to the Authurs seat run.. if you don't want to play you can gasbag down the bottom of the run and watch the smoke coming from your mates brakes? Hehe, coffee and scones... nice...
  5. Ahh, very nice rolla you have there! Plenty of new members with nice rollas actually! Good to see! Hope you have been enjoying your time here? Jarrad
  6. Ahh, the Tedman! Your going to win the longest distance award again! On tha point... it doesnt really matter what we do to you, as long as your enjoying it!
  7. Hi all... Just going through some ideas etc and I figure that I need to see how many people from SA are thinking of coming and how many are sure they will make the trip? The reason being I'm having a little trouble sorting accomodation in Portland for the Aus day weekend. So if noone is interested in the trip we may not make our way to partland but to Apollo bay instead as we did last year. This is not a finalised thing so don't wory if your still keen on coming, just something that needs to be discussed. Cheers, Jarrad
  8. Ahh, all good. Still trying to get more info on Accomodation etc for the trip. In fact... I have to see how many SA guys and gals are interested in the run and will actually make the trip. The reason being that we had a great time in Apollo Bay last year and if we can stay there again we may as well... hope that doesnt sounds selfish? I guess this also depends on how many people want the run to be extended from the Vic end? Not just in time (as we will be going over two nights) but distance... if people don't want to make the trip to Portland then there isnt much point in pushing the issue. What do the interested parties think? JP
  9. Ahh yes, he is a stirrer! And we love it! Paul, sounds good on the parts! don't see to many of these around anymore so I grabbed it straight away! Mind you, I still havent got the bloody thing! Its not ready until Saturday.. can't wait! The run that the cccv guys (and gals) do is a sweet trip, anything like that could be on the cards. Its a fairly big run... I would have to bring some extra fuel for between servo's in the Val! Not to mention fit some swaybars! Do we want a big run or something smaller with more bench racing involved? JP
  10. haha, mind you... my Val sits like that as I havent been able to afford Dropped spindles to lower the front yet! At least its not a Commodore...
  11. Jeez your good with the links...
  12. Thats kinda the point of this thread...
  13. Well... Thanks Cam! Brought a tear to me eye... your a great mate! Ok ok, in my (and Rollaclub Vic's) defence I have personally been bloody flat out at work of late. Its shits me to tears as its taking up al of my time and I can't do anything! On the other hand I do get to work on some freakin cool cars like tri 5 Chevs, mustangs, various Hot Rods etc etc... so I shouldnt complain to much! Rightio... for those of you who don't know I have sold the Rolla recently to make way for a new project... don't worry, its gone o a very good home and I'm very, VERY happy about that! The new project is a pretty rare thing on the roads today, its an AP5 Valiant Wagoon thats dead stock (for the moment :) ). For those of you who have no idea what that is your either too young or are a real die hard Rolla fan! Pics will explain: Anyway... its a cool cruiser and if you come along to a Vic event then you will most likely see it slinking along the road! Speaking of Vic events... we should get something off the ground again. It has been pretty quiet around here of late but hey... we can't be busy all the time right? The Mt Macedon run was a bit of fun, we had minimal numbers sadly but we made up for that by having enough fun for everyone! We even had my mates 55 Chev along for the run (damn that things loud!). Will get pics up in that thread when I get the camera back! Ok, throw some ideas around and lets see what we can do for the next run! Jarrad
  14. And I was hoping to meet you one day! Not going to happen now!!!!! How was the weekend anyway? looked cold and wet from in front of the fireplace in my mates shed...
  15. Ooohhh... welcome to the club Sam! You and Stu (kickn5k) will get on very well with both of you having plans for a sc12 efi equipt 5k! Sounds like one nice PV you have there mate, be sure to throw up some pictures when you get the chance. Jarrad
  16. Would love to have been able to make the trip over for it... I havent been yet! Mind you, I will be busy building a Hambster with a mate for the Nostalgia Drags... so I'm not complaining! Make sure you get some pics! And come to think of it... your being let out of the house Colin?????
  17. *Shudders* Ke50... hmmmm... I have to say, not the nicest looking rolla but my mate has one the same colour in Mildura (Vic). Trust me, the go really nicely with a built turbo 4k in them :D Especially on 14psi! Good luck with the project, should come up pretty sweet.
  18. Hahaha, they actually told us to give them a call after tate had a munch on the thing... they wanted to know how long it took for his arse to start burning! Lol! I was a .. ahmmm.... pussy... and didnt give it a crack, don't think I will regret that choice though!
  19. I second that motion... or get a neato scoop
  20. Hey there Chief... What are of Vic are you in? If you heading over yo toyrolla then you a suburbanite... so which area? The dash is easy as pie, you will have it done pretty quickly, even if you take your time. One great thing about ae82 is the fact that there dime a dozen at the wreckers, if you break anything in the process you can get another really cheaply. On that note, why not head to a wreckers (pick a part for instance) and have a crack on a car in the yard. That way you can have a couple of goes and if you bugger anything up you don't have to worry about it. Maaateeee... I wish you were joking... There are so many things wrong with cutting you springs... just don't do it! Anyway, Welcome to the club mate... you've got one clean looking car there. Nice work. JP
  21. Well... thats your fault for ordering a Mexican pizza as hot as they can make it! It was a pisser! Made him cry after two slices! Mind you, it was just the way he wanted it!
  22. Just a quick happy birthday to the one and only Leeroy! Hope you've had a shithot day mate... and that you managed to get the night off work for it! can't drive and drink at work al at once! ... welll.... we will see anyway! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! JP
  23. Hahaha, don't take it to heart... I was only stiring ;) don't worry... you all had pretty good excuses for not turning up, but yes the run was pretty good and you missed it! Better luck next time! On the up side, I have heaps of Jimmy cans left for myself :D
  24. sweet day guys... shame the peninsula pussies didnt turn up ;) Nah, only kidding! Was a shame a fair whack of the crew couldnt turn up but we still had a ball on the run! In fact, the remaining crew have only just left my place for drinks after a big bench racing session and pizza/JB's. Was good! Will post up some pics soon as I can! And on another note.... think we went a little quick for deano in his Chevy! lol! Had a hard time rounds the bends but jeez... it sounded farking tough! JP
  25. Also... I owuld be guessing a meet time of abround 12 noon in the marsh? If we are leaving there at one I'm pretty sure were going to need a bit of gasbaging time!
