  1. Hey Like! Bout time you got on here... Have been meaning to get hold of you for a while now to see how the rocket is going. The car in question is my old '82... it has gone to a very good home! Anyway, welcome to the club mate. Will have to drop in on you sometime! JP. Oh, and Adam... whilst we shouldnt play with the rules, you can make a 5k look just like a stock 4k and have a much more drivable/enjoyable car... Even when its stock
  2. well, yeah... true. Mind you, a tuck n roll tri mjob in a ke rola just doesnt do it for me like the one I'm doing for the Val. PLus... I couldnt get my rolla as low as the Val anyday! hehe
  3. hehehe, your such a smart arse Stu... I like it... Well... Luke, I will see if I can catch you... or not! Like I said, at least I will look cool doin it! I might even wind the torsion bars up on the front and go for the "gasser" look!
  4. Welcome again mate... And speaking of cruises (how well did this work out :P ) were having our annual Great Ocean Rd Run in 3 weeks if you are keen... may be a little early for you but you never know, especially since you would have had your P's for only a couple of weeks (well, hopefully. Good luck there). Anyhow, welcome to Rollaclub. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we do! JP
  5. Sounds good Stu. Still waiting on payments from many people, thankyou to those who have either PM'd me to let me know whats going on or have already payed. I have just got back from holidays so things will pick up a touch from here... after all, its only 3ish weeks to go! I have to start putting money away for fuel... I'm not going to eat on the trip, I can't afford to! lol! its all going to FUEL... GLORIOUS FUEL!!! hahaha Seriously though, I'm going to have a hard time getting this trip done on less than 5 tanks me thinks... GULP... I went to Aireys inlet wednesday and then onto Lorne and back home on Saturday on a full tank, so maybe I will come out a little better than I think? Maybe! I mean... 5 tanks is only about *caugh* $300... :P
  6. don't stress... should all be swet. Even if it comes to a last minute thing we will sort it out. Cheers for letting us know! JP.
  7. Not sure actually... would have to nock on the door me thinks!

  9. Just remember to take off the all terains first...
  10. Everyone Please Read, Important Announcement! Ok everyone... heres where we get really serious! Below are my bank details for payment of the run. The price will be $40 per person for the weekend, not including petrol and food (but it does include a BBQ breakfast on Monday). You will need to bring sleeping gear (including tent/swag etc) as we will be on powered camping sites. Being a powered site, if you have anything you need to bring that needs mains power then its not a problem this year. If you would prefer to place a $20 deposit per person into the account then this is fine, you can pay the rest at one of the various meet points along the way. The main reason for the deposit being needed is to make sure you come and to pay for the deposit on the camping sites, the remaining bill for the sites will be payed upon arrival. Another thing that needs to be done. This particular caravan park needs details for each site holder. I know its a group booking and they do have my details... but for there computer etc they need seperate details for someone on each site. They would preffer if we do this via phone beforehand to make it easier or we can do this during check in. Basically, I need 6 people to put up there hand to be in charge of a site... let me know what you think and we will get it done. Ok, heres a shortened version of the main details you need to know. Cost for two nights camping sites, bbq breaky and goodies bag: $40 per person. My Bank details... Account name: J P Saleta Account No: 116144809 BSB: 633-000 PLease put your Screen name as the heading on the transfer so I know who they are coming from! If you would preffer not to or cannot transfer money to my account then let me know, even if you don't want to for other reasons please get hold of me and we will sort something out. Either of (03)53670470 or 0400843198 will get me. Or you can PM me or email me on [email protected]. This system worked well last year for deposits so we may as well do it again, remembering that this is an account that was spwcially set up for this run last time so there is nothing in it except for just under $12 from the last run! So don't bother trying to steal it... your only ripping us all off! Now that thats out of the road I'm going back to the river to enjoy some more JB's... JP

  12. Hmmm... I might tyr to break into the 19second zone in the Val! hehehe... at least it will look good doing it! Should have the carbs on by then and the mufflers changed too... can't wait to change the note again. COunt me in... Might see if Deano will bring the '55 Chev along too...
  13. Payment is only for those who stay for the weekend unless you want a goodies bag... we will have to work asomething out if that is the case. Sorry for little updates this week... havent had a chance as I am away for two weeks... will be better early next! JP
  14. No need to appologise mate, very sorry to hear of your loss. I hope all goes well. Jarrad
  15. Would just like to wish everyone in the Rollaclub community a Very Merry Christmas! (only half an hour to go!) After many drinks many of us may not be able tyo spell (me included) but hopefully we will be right to tear some wrapping paper off a pressie or two in the morning. Again, Merry christmas to you all... JP and Mel.
  16. The look shit as Webers.... bring back the stockies! Actually... I'm loving them,... thats what mine needed but they didnt fit! This things a sweet ride, just get your overheateing problems sorted before the GOR! Either that or get the 20valve in it! JP
  17. Hey there! Welcome to the club. You have the right idea on getting some info, you will find plenty over here and will no doubt make a bunch of great friends. Enjoy your stay and spell better than me and you will be set! Cheers, JP
  18. All right... another cruiser! Will be a long drive not to stay the night? Have a think... and get back to me if you decide to stay! Either way will be good to have you on the run chief. Alrighty then... I'm going to need some money thrown my way from everyone involved. Same deal as last year, either a direct deposit into my bank account or come see me with some money in hand. I'm not playing funny buggers and planning to run off with the cash either! So don't worry about that! I will find my bank details and post them up... its a second account I use for this type of thing so theres nothing inthere... so if you rip money out of it your only ripping the club off! The cost as previously mentioned will be $40 per head to cover everything. If we have money left over it can go towards dinner one night or something, we will havwe to decide on the weekend. On a side note... the weather is lovely in Mildura! Lotsa sunshine! Time to head to the river and sink some cans... JP
  19. Sounds great! Also official... WE have 8 Sites booked and a deposit paid! Had to go for powered sites this year as everything else is booked out! This is why we have 8 instead of 10 sites, to even out the cost. Just a quick note, I worked out the cost for the event per person. To include breakfast, stickers, goodies bag and other odds n sods (includinf the sites for 2 nights) it will be $40 per person. Mind you, thats on the numbers we have now. With 20 or more it will hopefully be cheaper... but I'm not entirely sure. Would be maybe $35 each then? Will update whn I get to Mildura! Jarrad
  20. Jeeeezzz.... sorry mate! I didnt get the PM off to you! Sounds good... will add you to the list! Yes, we are camping again this year, makes for a great trip! Everyone gets together and it works very well. I have to appologise to you lot over in SA, I havent been uptating this thread as often as possible. I have a list of attendees in the first post of the VIC section, will transfer it over here soon! JP
  21. Ha! Thats a very quick car that one... runs at the top of the two litre class most events... mind you, I have only seen it at Calder Park. Well worth a trip to the track when the Vic Motorsport series comes along, a VERY good day out! Well spotted! On that car as well... should see the recessed firewall in it! crazy work! The coilovers in the rear are a very similar story!
  22. Thats ok Ted.. I'm doing my best to slow it down with BULK PM's! hehehe
  23. Hahahaha, that it was Stu! Will give you a call and sort something out. Appologies for not updating yet. I know this is close but things are hectic around here at the moment! To top it iff I'm off to Mildura for 2 weeks this weekend and I have 2 broken fingers! Typings no fun! Ok... I am about to book accomodation. We have a place lined up now, they have told me to get in soon as they are filling up fast! As Tate has posted there is a big carnival on over the weekend so there will be plenty of eye candy for both sides of the fence available! Mind you... thats not the only highlight of the trip. We will be at the Henty Bay Park Click!, a lovely looking Beachfront park with plenty of room for us all. I will be booking 10 sites I'm pretty sure... we have about 30 people interested (I have to update the list as some cannot come and some are bringing more). The sites are for one tent only though... or so they say... but there can be up to 6 people per site. So we should be right. Last year we had 8 sites and used about 3! I'm most likely not bringing the huge tent again... would be good though! will see what happens. If you want it for storage etc then let me know. If not, I will just campout in the back of the Wagoon! OK... I need people to rely to my PM! I still don't know who is coming! we have very few who have givin a yay or nay... mainly the peninsula group. And thankyou for your PM's/ We also have a couple of new additions who will be going on the list as soon as I have the time. Have to go help the girl with the broken leg to bed... fun fun... Night!
  24. Come on everyone!!! we even moved the destination to cut your trip in Half! (well, if you go the scenic route like Raven did last time! hehe). Really looking forward to meeting you lot... a few PM replys would be nice from those who I sent it to over here (not many as yet). Not long to go!
  25. Hahahaha, your a pisser Tate! You only have about 2 hours worth of work last time I heard? You had better get your ass into gear... your meant to be dropping into my place Saturday in the beast running extractors only! or maybe a straight through muffler dumping out under the car... might be a little less yellow sticker worthy! hehe As for oil... bloody Bacchus. No car places bar the servo equals no decent oil! ALso, on the proper topic... I keep seeing a Hot Pink (yes, hot pink) AE82 Seca with black bumpers and silver 16's on it driving past work in Sunshine... Complete with 4ac and terrible sounding Canon on the rear... and its Auto! don't worry... its a chicks car
