Bugger, was hoping for a free feed! Will give Cam (MRMOPARMAN) a call to see if he is coming, he has very limited net access at the moment due to moving house so he peobably hasnt had a chance to reply. Now, I may have double booked myself it seems, I am supposed to be racing at the Marsh Rodders fun day at Heathcote drags the same day... but we will see. Have to check if its Saturday of Sunday! G'day all... I thought that as this has been mentioned on the Rollaclub main page that I would get the event out there and let everyone know whats going on. This will be our third event running where we basically get a bunch of us together and make our way down Victorias Great Ocean Road. We camp at a designated camp site in a town of our choice along the way and generally have a ball. I would like to personally invite people from around Aus to this event, its geting bigger and better every year and it would be great to have you there. Also, pretty sure this is Rollaclubs only Tri state event (just!) as we have the Vic crew, a small crew from South Aus and Mr Teddy even makes his way from good ol' Brisvegas for the run! Camping FTW! Easy to set up, reasonably comfortable and very funny to watch people at the end of the big night trying to get the tent door open! I would love to throw some more info up here for everyone but have none to do so with. What I would like from people is ideas of where to head to and where to stay. Benny was kind enough to sort out some accomodation ideas and send them to me, then I was stupid enough to forget about them! Will get back to you shortly on them, although, I am pretty sure they were both in Warnambool? I'm not sure on others views of the place but I'm not sure it it has the vibe we usually look for... such as Appolo Bay etc etc SO where do you all want to head to! JP

I thought I would let this go for a couple of days whilst I enjoy the warm weather up here! can't believe the amount of posts its already had! Showbags and awards are on the cards, they were both very popular over the last two so why not have both. Benny, you are welcome to sort out the showbags if your keen, you had some pretty good ideas last year! Let me know. Location to which we travel is another topic that needs to be discussed. I know the SA crew would like to do the Ocean Rd again, they didnt really see any of it last year as we went to Portland... the Vic crew saw the whole thing from start to finish. The only things we know we need for our entertainment would be a decent pub for dinner, good accomodation and a carnival! I will be getting in contact with the TCCAV this year, they missed out last year and had some pretty keen members, no point in letting that happen again. Do we get hold of Toymods/Twincam etc this year? How big would we like this event to get? Also, do we limit it to Corolla/Toyota clubs? I for one will not be in a Rolla... the only jap part I will have on my car will probably be the tyres! The Wagoon WILL be on the run this time! Ok, Ideas are what we are after. Throw your oppinion up so it can be discussed. We have 6 months to get this baby crackin once more! JP

You read right, its July once more and I'm sitting at a computer in Darwin thinking we need to start organising our biggest and only yearly event once more.
