  1. Yes yes the "Nana" aka Stu needs to make a show for this one. Ricky might even give him a nana motorsport sticker! Looks like we have some interest as per usual. I like it! Staying in Apollo bay gives us access to plenty of places to get into trouble :P If we have enough people , and I'm sure we will, there will be two different cruise routs for Saturday arvo. Unless requested we will stear clear of our usual skenes creek road run this time, with the amount of roads around we might as well. We could even do a cruise to lorne if there is interest, this would depend on how we get to Apollo bay in the first place. Will keep you updated on a few ideas that come up. My 10 will be there, so that will be two cammed up twin carbed 5ks to contend with Mick! I may have been convinced to give the whole car a blowover as well seeing I have to paint some of it anyway, it's straight enough to do it anyway. :bash: Jarrad
  2. Hasn't been much interest in a healsville cruise as yet... Will get arthurs seat done and dusted then think about the next trip. Will get there! Good to hear the cars almost sorted Johno, should be good :)
  3. Hasn't that thing died and gone to hell yet??? :)
  4. I think I will start a thread in the automotive discussion section this year? Link the interested regions to it? There was talk of a multi region event area but I don't think it will happen. As for not having a rolla on the road for the trip... Who cares! We have as many if not more non rollas on the run that rollas most years. Everything from BMW to magna, commodore to valiant and rollas of all ages. Poz Sven brought the bundy last time. It's all fun no matter what your in... But as Butty found out it's not as much fun in an evo7... It's all to easy! :)
  5. would have to have a look but you may be able to get away without removing the screens... depends on how the rubbers are setup. I would charge about $250 for one of these, they are a fair bit more work than the later rollas with the board in the roof, they are waaaay to easy... the earlier ones with bowes in the roof (the steel bars) have to be stitched together out of seperate pieces of material... expect to loose the car for most of the day for this. You might be able to ebay yourself a new lining and get it fitted? they usually arent to bad for the price, or have fun and fit it yourself... I could pm you through it lol JP
  6. Thats right everyone, the Great Ocean Road trip is turning 5! This trip however will be a little different to the last few, it will be a one nighter like the first trip as we do not have a long weekend to run the event over in 2011 for Australia day. Australia day for 2011 will be a wednesday so that will serve as a great prep day I recon! The GOR trip will be held the weekend after Australia day due to many requests from members who will be attending, this may also give us some cheaper camping rates due to most high seasons running until Australia day. Ok, so we will be running for two days, most likely we will cruise to warnambool and meet up with the SA crew if there are any coming (I can hear Mick now!) and cruise the GOR on the way back through to Apollo Bay for the night. We would then setup, have a yak and hit the road again for a redhot run through some twisties. I'm pretty sure we will have a couple of different ways to go this time, one for people who are afraid of dirt roads and one for the rest of us! After that we will hit the town for dinner then back to the camp site to get the guitars out and piss off the campers again :) Sunday will have the famouse bacon and egg breaky followed by packup and hitting the road again for some more fun if we feel like it, we could do something as a group or head home. plenty of options. Ok, anything else??? Theres plenty to be written! Plenty to be said! Plenty of peole to get into gear! This will be one of the cheapest weekends for the amount of fun you cram into it. we possible have an extremely cheap camp site in Aireys inlet that we may be able to use, plenty of room and power etc and we can make plenty of noise with almost no complaints. Will have to check up on that though. One last thing... BRING IT ON!
  7. I'll be in the area but sadly will be working my arse off at the time :) Let us know how you go, anything with a roady is worth some coin if you ask me! JP
  8. Well, seems theres plenty of interest for a cruise! Matt, if you could start up a cruise thread for the run to the seat that would be great. That will be the next run on the cards, beit this month or next. Its been a while since we had a cruise down the peninsula! Or a cruise at all for that matter! As for the other ideas Cam sure has a few! Brilliant! We have a few things on the cards for the rest of the year. A kart night would be great, I have wanted to hit Fun City Karts for a while for one of there drift nights, used to be wednesday nights and a flat rate for as many laps as you can fit in 4 hours! Its indoors so all weather and they run a wet track to keep us entertained. A drive in night will be happening once it warms up a bit. We did Coburg last time, maybe the one down dandy way next time? Another thing that would be great to have happen for a day would be a trip to heathcote drags for some heads up grudge matches! I will have a rolla on the road by then so I'm keen as mustard! this would be a full day cruise to the track, lunch, racing etc so it will be a great day. The other thing going to start happening is GOR5! Will be posting a starter thead for this right away. Will be another epic event and will be held over the weekend after Australia day as there is no long weekend for it in 2011. ok, lets get the next cruise happening!... and maybe a BBQ n drinks afterwards? JP
  9. Well it's sure got me motivated. Mine won't be anywhere near as tidy but will still be fun. I'm looking forward to hearing how the twin carb setup performs. Sure looks the goods :)
  10. Ok, seems the game is up! :) it is in fact a completely different car, it was an offer I couldn't refuse! This has replaced the 11 for my project and Deano has bought the 11 off me to complete it much the same as I had planned but over a longer time period. Sothere will be two of them racing around! It is in fact a 68, so it's got the late dash and door trims but early seat trim style. In fact the interior is overrated! Even the rubber floor mat is near perfect. It's originally "k" powered toyoglide car and is very straight for it's age, the boot, bonnet and front guard have been repaired and will be getting painted in the next couple of weeks. Most of the running gears been rebuilt so that's a bonus. Hendo, as for the brakes it came with late corolla disks ready to bolt on with calipers etc. I will get some 20 hubs to keep this pattern to run some wheels I may have lined up. Planning on upgrading to a galant or similar master cyl as it's currently missing one altogether. The engine bays been painted too... But that's another story! Well, I have more to say but it will have to wait! It's tea time and it takes to bloody long to type on my phone! Jarrad
  11. Coming along nicely!
  12. Ok ok, it looks very 4x4 ish doesn't it?! I'm thinking I will paint that white when I sort the guard and boot out. I still have some rust in the doors to get rid of. And Felix is so close with what's happened to the car it's not funny... Ok, it actually is :hmm: The fact my mate Deano55 just bought a ke11 from Bacchus marsh should have you in the right direction! JP
  13. Hahaha, almost... I have both sills black though! Parot figured it out, I'm losing faith in the rc members here! Hints everywhere! Before After as TE278U put it, spot the difference!
  14. We've been found out deano!
  15. This one might have the answers deano and pete! http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...37738&st=30
  16. Cheers Ted! Maybe this will help the situation???
  17. WIndowless! Grouse! Coming along nicely! All the hard work will be paying off soon by the looks of it. JP
  18. Goodluck keepin up with us on that pushy Andy! Nice simmons by the way :hmm:
  19. Hahaha, yeah, confusion is good. There are some key pieces to this mistery in my photos... I even left a hint in the Vic section :hmm: Will make sure I look at page 14 too!
  20. Have a good look at the before and after chief... You will be... Suprised! :hmm:
  21. How about now? Repaired and primed front guard. not sure about the mirror yet... painted engine bay... Wrong bloody colour!
  22. Hrmmmmmmm you say... And? :blinks:
  23. Spotted, white ke10 in Geelong on a trailer towed by a blue commo... Turned off the highway at the Bacchus marsh exit... Looked clean as.
  24. Someone had to :) And he's not joking about nana taking the engine, but it's not his nana just a mate of ours. The car in question is a ke11 that looks remarkably like mine...
  25. It's alright Adam, he's just playing funny buggers :) Bout time you signed up Deano, you've owned a rolla gor 12 hours already! We will be getting stuck into it shortly, might be another excuse for a BBQ at my place? You already know half the active Vic members anyway! Now ask a proper question :) Nob.
