Finished putting the engine together, got it running finally :) sounds a bit like a truck just having it run through the extractors. Getting started on the supercharger sometime very soon :)

Got the 5K and gearbox in today, just gotta find 2 more pushrods from an A10/Datsun 1000 engine to complete it. Made an adaptor to put the pulley from the crank and the supercharger to spin together Once we get some pushrods, hopefully get the supercharger in and ready to go :D

well, putting the 5k together, still need 4 pushrods that are 141.5mm ball and cup, cos we don't have the 5k rocker gear, so if anybody has any that size or knows where to get some, let me know if you can ;) . Gonna hopefully clean the rest of the bay and put in the engine/block and gearbox on sunday, rego soon and then putting on the superchargerrrrr !!

Took out the 3K today! Getting closer :)

Yeh, thought that it would need cutting to fit a ke70 box but didnt realise that the auto box was in the right spot, least the ke70 5spd's are more common to find! Ah what i meant was 4k head on 5k block, but we have found a 5k head so will be doing a complete 5k.

Ah not too sure, but would look nice :) It had an auto so it seems that the hole already there seems to fit a KE70 5speed, measured it up etc. Ended up tracking down a 5k Head so hopefully will be using that instead :) Cheers, Hayden

haha, thankyou! Got the pedal box in over the weekend, for some reason the picture seems to be purple. Dad picked up a 4 speed for now until we can find a 5 speed, but hopefully should do the trick in the meantime. Started work on stripping the 4K of parts and get a complete engine with the 5K. Started on adding a tacho in place of the clock for the cluster, coming along nicely :P and lastly, scored some rims for free from my uncle, unfortunately the PCD was different and didnt fit on which was dissapointing ! Yeh, We are looking into brakes but not to sure which ones to go for, any solutions/suggestions? and as to diff, we are looking for one, maybe a hilux depending on prices but in the meantime, hopefully it doesnt break haha, :)

Hi all, I recently sold my 180sx to help fund my new project, a 5K Supercharged KE30! My dad and I will be doing this ourselves, well mainly my dad haha but i'm good for moral support :) We eventually found a 5k block with some gear still on it, and then found a 4k to "mix and match" the bits needed. I then bought a SC14 Supercharger from a Jap Import shop in Adelaide. We will hopefully be doing a manual conversion with some parts that we got from U-Pull-It, just waiting to find a gearbox.Anyway, Be sure to stay tuned in the near future for more updates! :D

Hey all, Just wondering if 17's will fit onto my KE30 without major modifications, reason being my dad gets heaps of 17 inch tyres from his work for free and wouldnt cost me anything to get tyres, cheers :)
