if the drive shaft nut was loose it should have been missing its split pin as well and you should have been able to grab the wheel and move it when it was on the ground ie a side to side movement. and you should have been able to feel it through the steering wheel while driving. :hmm: :blinks: my experiences with loose drive shafts also caused scoring on the rotors as well. :hmm: but it is still good that you found the problem and were able to fix it.

B.L.Z.BUB sounds like you need a

good luck buying brand new calipers and hubs/rear trailing arms from toyota, better lop off and arm and and a leg, and quite possibly take a huge tub of lube as well. best of getting these from a another car and rebuilding them. rotors, brake pads, handbrake cables and flexible lines can be bought new though.

it is a simple conversion only requiring the the 3 trailing arms, hubs, calipers, flexible brake lines, rotors, and handbrake cable off of a ae9X SX hatch/seca or an RV/Ultimta secas i have been there and done it one of my ae9x's and it is worth the effort only if you are doing an engine conversion as well :y: and that car is still running the same master cylinder as when is had the drums brakes on the rear, but i also went with the larger front brakes as well when i did the conversion :y:

4afc was released in aust, have one in an 1989 ae92 cs hatch. quite possible the original motor died and was replaced.

all i can say is that it's back on 4 wheels, all plumbed up, just a couple of wires to connect and then its tune time :fuzz: not bad considering i bought the engine package almost 2 years ago :rolls: eta to hit the streets 2 weeks at a guess :dance:

sedan, hatch and seca mirrors are all interchangable

the seca will need a shake down cruise once its finished, but as of yet theres no eta for it yet. Plus one i don't really want to bring an excel along :rolls:

e58-11c were the lsd gearboxes, not mostly (cough and i just happen to have 2 of said boxes). there was also e51/52 from mr2's c160 6 speed gearboxes off of i do believe the bzr ae111 20v blacktops and not all of them were lsd either. But in saying that there is aftermarket lsd's availiable for both the e-series and c-series boxes just don't expect them to cheap either.
