    Doubt its legal plus the cars on youtube are either illegal or they are spend shit loads of money to make it legal but i doubt it very much

    I remember seeing a ke30 with a rb20 on ebay and I'm pretty sure it didnt have the firewall modified but it did look like a tight fit so i don't think it would fit unless the rb20's and the 30s are the same size i have no idea not really into skylines. Go a 4age forged pistons and a hair dryer.

    How much is this thing close to legal. I would like to do this but have it legal even if it wasnt turbo charged and just NA. It would suck to be pulled up by the cops and have it taken from you.

    I'm in Redland Bay weird i havent seen it around. How does the 2.7 conversion go, any times down the track??? What year is the engine??? I want to get a vvti 2.7litre

    How much??? Well as far as i have been told by engineers its not going to happen. They suggested a 2.7 ltre hilux engine has anyone done this before also i have been looking where to find a half cut and have no idea where to find one.

    Well i have a mechanic that will do the conversion and i have heard in Qld that if the car weights 1000kg for turbo you multiply that by 2.5 which makes in 2.5 litre so i thought because the ke30 is just under that i would go for the rb20det if it was 1000kg i would go the 2.5dett but its not :poke:

    Hi everyone i have been looking at the many options for an engine conversion on my KE30. I can get my hands on a very cheap rb20det just wanting to know if it would be legal, i know that i should be able to put a 2 litre in the rolla but does it go on the amount of cylinders or the engine capacity or both?????     Yeah thats the idea but i don't think i have the funds to back it up. It would be nice i think the f20c is the most powerful stock 4cylinder street engine that i know of. Unless anyone knows of anything else.

    Just considering all my options with engine conversions. I thought i might try something different. Rather than the usual CA18DET 4AGE 4AGTE. I have seen a video of a trueno that had done the conversion in japan but other than that i haven't seen anyone else do it.

    Just wondering if it would be a straight forward engine swap from a 3k to a 4k or would the major mods that have to be done??? Ive already got the motor its coming out of my brothers ke70 that he wrote off.

    Yeah have only been over there once about a year ago. I havent been out for a cruise for ages. If i go out i normally go to springwood maccas but its been a while.
