  2. Ooopsss, cos i already posted a couple of posts and did not introduce meself, sorry, guys!! Right, my name is vince and am originally from malta, but been living in england for a year now. I am 25 yrs old, and started drg racing when i was 17 yrs old with my dad. I owned a few toyotas, 2 glanzas, 1 supra and my ke25 sl (1971) model. I am in the process if getting my ke25 from malta to the uk and use as a track/drag car. Still have to decide whats gonna run the car though!! I think a 4age or a gze though wiould be good enough. Cheers Vince
  3. Hey mate, thats a nice setup, with good conditions it should see you in the mid 13's on the strip. Reason i ma sayind this, in malta i ran a 14.1 with a ke35, 5k with twin 40's, kent cam, and serious headwork. Unfortunately, the gearbox and diff called it a day in the last day in malta before i moved to england. Good luck mate. Vince

    My Ke25

Hi people, i am new to this forum, and would like some help with my car. I am a maltese national living in england and would like to bring over my car from malta. The car is a 1971 corolla sl, ke25 model. I satrted drag racing when 1 was 17yrs old, and after nearly 7 years, i want to build my own car. The sl is quite a good car, being light and rwd. The questions are, what is the best engine/transmission to use without too much hassle, preferably turbo. And secondly waht rear axle should i use, cos I'm already on my second diff, with a 5k engine in it!! Cheers for yr help, Vince
