  3. ok well guys sorry i havent been on here for a couple of weeks... like to thank people for all there inputs.... ok... This ke20 i have... i would love to keep it for a very long time and have no interest of getting rid of it..... My fabrication skills and knowledge is pretty high... I'm am nearly a 3rd year apprentice mechanic... and my dad works at rodtech on hampsted road who have a well reputation for fabrication so no problem there...... i would love to go 20 valve but through my buddies at jaustech they said 20 valve comps are like hens teeth if u don't buy a complete package... and i would have to modify the firewall for the distributor... its not a bad idea for the 2tg... or 3.. but id previously looked that up and had no luck on finding any 2tg motors.... the R31 auto 4:11 diff is in the process of getting cut and shut.... calipers and brackets all polished and zinc plated =] very nice..... i would love to go sr... seeing tonite a 180sx making solid 220kw runs on jaustech's dyno but I'm going 16v 4age... I'm guna stick to it... even if i have to buy a corolla seca or something just for the 4age I'm willing to do.... pulled the diff out on the weekend.... heaps easy... besides popping out the axles... but u gotta love it wen redback spiders jump on you wen your trying to get those pain in the a$$ plastic handbrake guides out...
  4. Hey all, I have a 1971 KE20 corolla and having troubles deciding what to do with it 4AGE - Seems like a easy conversion... T50 box.... engine mounts.. blah etc...... thats wht i want to do.. but having troble finding a 4age.. i have a T50 box in my backyard.... ive rang around Adelaide for the past 4 months..... ethier no one has one or they want 1500 plus for a FWD motor... Dreamers..? SR20DE- Ive done some research and seems like a hard conversion.... cutting the tunnel making a new one... getting everything to fit..... i have no problems with the diff side of it.... i have a R31 diff 4:11 sitting in my backyard ready to be customized at rodtech 2 suit my KE20.. i could get a SR tommorow if i really wanted to be is it more trouble fitting everything than what it is made out to be?
