So the rotas weigh 7kgs with no tyre I just did a quick search and uncovered that a SSr mk2 R14 x 8jj weigh's 6.6kg (http://www.driftireland.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5206) and if you remember I was looking at R15 so I guess it would make up for that 0.3 of a kg maybe more??
