  2. yeh its an ecotec v6 3.8, and where is braeside? proberly be just as easy for me to look that up lol. yeh i havent done the conversion my self am looking at buying a car with it done though not before its been engineered :no2: the work is very tidy.., through out the car so the engineer has to be certified what esacly does this mean?? that there not dodgy and everything is through the books...?? thatll ill be safe,, or thatll hell make me put bucket seats in with 4point harnesses.. there allways over engineering things they are thanks ryan

  4. hey all I'm in need of an engineer in melbourne north east suburbs any 1 know of any good 1s?? the car has used a pat gardner conversion kit and is mighty clean but hasnt beeen signed off and a car must need an engineer cert berfor it can be road worthy yes :huh: I'm pretty sure but not...lol thanks guys ryan

  12. I'm not 100% sure but i think the closet ull get to ke70 pcd 114.3... is rx7 series 1 114s if that helps! these can easly be fitted if this is the case just take them to a rim joint they charged me 80 bucks to do 4
  13. Short answer is no. Long answer is you can easily do a conversion to have one. But it isn't going to be cheap. yeh i didnt think so just wanted to be sure, thanks. so how come it lsd then?? and yeh am thinking of puting a t18 diff in getting the Essentials done first though :hmm:
  14. ke70 diff just wondering if any early 80s model came out with an lsd my 1st thought is no but ive just converted my auto ke70 to manual n wanted to see what it could do lol :laff: an it spun both wheels for like 5m on ashfelt ansers would be great cheers
  15. aye mate i know that uve said that your only interested in the mad house lips but i made mine in a coulple of hours with a jigsaw some pop rivets n some patience lol its as pictured in my avater its off a volvo v70 n comes up a treat :yes: coast 30 bucks alot cheaper

  18. so gear box is ready to go in :) the only thing left to do is to find some rubber bump stops for the x member would it be fine just to drill the holes out make them a little wider for the auto 1s to fit??? or does any body have any lieing around thanks
  19. not sure on where to source new clips from burnsuns maybe?? maybe a wreaker.. and put your thrust bearing in a vice then with a sprocket or something of similar width to thrust bearing houseing and hit it easy done then just hit the new 1 on
  20. was hopeing this would be the case i was skractching my head there for a minute :hmm: yeh i whent down to auto barn and got a hand ful of black rubber caping gromets looks so much neater now and yeh found 1 of your diagrams on here or the ke70 forum and copied that :y: thanks
  21. took a week of work this week and thought id get stuck into pulling the auto box out and also giving me time to go and get my fly wheel lightend :laff: and heavy duty clutch :yes: so far so good just a couple of questions though the inlet vacum line and radiator colling lines they can all be removed ??? i have looked over the manual box and i can't seem to find where they would go in thats if they do!? thanks
  22. yeh thanks guys think i should leave it in then like seabiscut states i will be working on the other side after all! and surprisingly it still works ice cold! not bad considering its the factory unit and owner said hed never got it re gased means itll proberly go soon then ill be thinking bout riping it out again haha

  25. hey all have got air con in my ke70 and am thinking bout taking it out this proberly sounds stupid, but will give me alot more room in the engine bay and tidy things up to, hose runing everywhere! ive searched round and havent found much on people taking them out but a couple puuting them in opoinings would be great and what do i need to take out if i go ahead would also be good thanks
