Yeah, i almost bought one. You would think that they'd have a cooling off period?? They wouldn't let me out of the contract so I had to add lots of extras onto it so i wouldn't get approved for the loan. Another mark on my credit rating thanks to the WANKERS at Proton.

I ment the little twist knob at the back, right end of the handbrake. When i pulled it up the knob flew off at me. I went to the wreckers today and it seems that the knob just unscrews so i justswapped it over for a good one. Oh, BuGGAr. Just remembered, i forgot to pay.

We never use * 10 #. Our answering machine usually picks up and they hang up. So * 10 # is useless cause the call has been answered. I like when we had optus where it was the last number that phoned your line, instead of the last unanswered call. Plus it was *69. When u have an answering machine no one ever leaves a message.

This thread has got me thinking and i was wondering can they make you test this if you don't have a Tacho?? Cause i would be impossible to guess 6000rpm and having a tacho isn't compulary.

You know what was a good show?? Dark Angel...mmm Jessica Alba = HOT!!! Veronica Mars is another good show with a hottie as the main character. Smallville...mmm Lana Lang... HOT!!! Prison Break was good, same with Desparate Housewifes and Lost. Law & Order Criminal Intent and Medium are good crime shows. I think that about sums it up. As you can see, i watch abit of tv. Lots of good shows.

Today I also saw a nice TE72 (T-18) at the wreckers. If i had a KE70, i'd attach the T-18's chrome bumpers assuming that they fit. But then again, i guess i'd rather a T-18 instead.

I've so far only seen one wagon and one panelvan ever. They were both at the wreckers and had nice Chrome roof racks on the roof. If i was gonna get myself a waggs i'd try to get a hold of the roof racks.:)

hey, just a quick question. The tension know on you handbrake, (In my case KE30), Is it needed?? I just got home, yanked up the handbrake and the knob flew off at me. Is it needed?? Can i still use the car?? Will the handbrake fail next time i use it??

Near wher i work this 19yo guy borrowed his dads ss ute and was trying to drift around a bend. The WANKER lost it and wrapped it around a tree. :lolcry: His dad's insurance wont cover stupidity. I think thats funny.

Hey guys, just wondering what everyone loves about Toyotas. I never really thought much about them and even when I got my car, its was only cause it was free and that it was a 70's car. The longer I have it, the more i grow to love it. And what i'm loving ther most is that when i go to the wreckers, i can go through any Toyota from that period to get parts. Like, need chrome door handles for your KE30?? There are several modles of Corona's that have the same handles. Same as if i need a interior dimister switch or door sensors. Also i want to get myself a rear view mirror with a deflector. I pulled one out of a KE70 and tested it at the wreckers on a KE55. BINGO, fits. I've previously pulled a boot release out of a KE70 too and modified it to fit my KE30. :lolcry: Next will be the handbrake console from a KE70, i tested one from the wreckers today and looks like it will fit, just need to find a good one. Also today i pulled a Glovebox lock + key off a Cressida. It doesn't fit the Corolla so i'm gonna go back and get the whole lid so i can have the inner skin. I'll see how that goes. Anyways, enough rambling, what does everyone else LOVE about Toyota's??

My sugestion, go to an exhaust shop and see if you can have your exhaust tested. I'm not sure if they do but someones gotta be able to do it if not a mechanic. Once with the proof, if he ties to fine you without his hearing aid turned on, show him you had it tested and its fine. **EDIT** If its not illigal, i don't see why you should have to change it.
