SUPRA W58 gearbox mount, needs a little modification to fit fabbed up some sort of a gearbox cross member... shame I forgot about the fact that Gearbox mounts are meant to bolt off... so I might make another one later down the track when I could be bothered. My welds are improving :) With the notch to the central floor brace, It allowed me to raise the gearbox nearly 60mm making the engine and gearbox level which allowed the 4th coilpack to be removed. Very happy with the positioning of everything so far.

those are just 15x8 Sport max's XXR i think they are called. Worth about .... $700 for a full set with tyres

bought the Kit from Ireland, Milling the rear housing myself and I'll pull the selector shaft out and either outsource the cut or just try mount it in the mill and cut it with the mill... Dunno yet but at the moment, i'm shortening the selector shaft and the rear housing part where Dad's pinky is by about 35mm so the Gearbox can sit about 40mm higher as it will clear the Central floor brace. Gives it just that little bit extra clearance and will make the motor sit 100%

195/45r14 7J rim snug in the guards, with plenty lock. Very happy with it. Beams poking out... Gearbox is not high enough, so i've pulled it apart and going to modify it abit... get it to hopefully fit 40mm higher, just to give a little more ground clearance in the middle of the car... Deffiantly worth the extra time i'm wasting here since I want the car to be low.

well come a long way. KE20 crossmember, all standard but I unpicked the mounts and moved them out 15mm to line up perfectly. Here's a picture of what I mean. Then mig welded the mounts and put a few plug welds... that's not moving anywhere anytime soon. This shows the 30mm crossmember space down ... no I won't be using oversized nuts lol. Hopefully have the 30x40mm solid bar made by this afternoon. This picture show's how far back the engine is, I've got a few solutions to the coilpack problem. With a 40mm RCA, Cold bent strut to re-allign the King Pin Angle. As you can't see, theres about 30mm from the 7" rim to the strut and thats all square... so I'm going to get abit more camber from the strut. Also show's how low the motor is, it's a lot lower then a 4k in a KE10, although it's not lower than the sill's.. Plan is to make a 12mm Bash plate that goes from the front of the car to the crossmember to protect the nice beams sump... Nice fit so far... very happy with it. Decent amount of lock, with a 195/45r14 tyre, abit of massaging on the inner guard and some more castor I'll be able to get a lot more lock. although may need the front of the guard choppped out to get lock... decisions decisions.

Engineering reasons. Plus it looks neater and the shape fits the beams sump better... its only 15mm difference but that 15mm makes everything work.

Nope... just a skid wheel I got kicking around haha. Looks pretty tough on the front of the KE though.. just the sizes though.

So I took my complete looking car and pulled it apart and started working on it again. I've lost my liscence for a fair while so plenty time to finish this car off and lose my licence again driving it. So the final set up is going to be a KE20 crossmember with a KE70 rack and pinion added to it using Rob's KE25 R&P conversion on RC. Luckily the motor still fits, didn't shrink over time lol Tight fit with the Plenum, I think I'm going to bin it and get Quads. Thats how the rack gets attached to the KE25 crossmember. Just removing the mounts and cleaning the KE25 crossmember up, Came inside and thought I'd update you guys on the build so far. I will hopefully have the motor mounted soon with the rack and pinion and the gearbox mounted. I will take some more pictures once it is done, other than that... too-da-loo!!

I bought a smashed 1997 mitsubishi RVR for $400 ... came with recaros, momo steering wheel, 4g63 turbo motor, recaro back seats, a bucket of nuts and bolts... Those seats came from the RVR, I got another set which came from a jap importer which I paid $450 for the seats and they were from an RX7 and I got another set which I got from a M series bmw.

Yeah I made a few but they don't suit KE10's so I sold them to a few Datto boys. I'm going to source that SHOWA carbon fibre one for mine :)

only problem is ae86 = 4x114.3 and ke20 = 4x110. I got a hilux LSD disc brake diff with 4x110 stud pattern. I can fit a 14" rim, not sure about 13" but its only the brakes

Kwaka 900 carbs... Theres a similar set of carbys... Although they don't have trumpets :) Only reason I'm doing to bike carbs is to get rid of the filthy Asian Carby and the stock headers haha. Hate them with a passion!

Coilovers are AE86 struts with TRD blue shocks... They were built in japan, I picked them up for $100 because the shocks stuffed and the threaded sleeve isn't the same on both shocks ( one shocks about an inch shorter ) but I'm just to shorten both of them about 2" to get the car really low. I sat on the "post" button clicking because it wasn't going through, then it loaded and I thought " oh shit " hahahaha!!! I was originally thinking 2pak and shinny. although now I've been contemplating doing it in acrylic and having it matte finished... CBR 600RR Carbs. About 34mm from memory. not to worried, picked them up for $90 and the carbs are easy to change once I got a manifold. Side pipe off the extractor!!!! or maybe 2" to the back under the diff flanged off with a bosozoku Lightning bolt pipe for laughs and a clean rotary style black cannon with a 2" dumpy or something .. don't know yet but something nice and not fully sick hahaha That colour! :)

Yeah thats the plan. Get this on the road ASAP. I need it on the road before christmas otherwise ... well nothing really, I just want it done ASAP haha!
