  1. Hey all, I was just wandering if anyone knew anything about al25 tercel rear diff, I know there not a Borg warner already, there is one at my local wreckers, what diff ratio are they and would it bolt up to my ae71?
  2. This thread is quiet deppressing
  3. I'M BACK...with a new project and may start a new build thread if if i'm not feeling too lazy, and if i can work out how to use this website properly....having alot of trouble at the momment, i just suck with computers. But anyway heres a photo of the new project on the way....now gotta work out how to upload photos I'm just testing out some matt black front guards at the momment which i painted of my spare ae71. and the front is also lowered on ae86 struts, but i havn't got a photo of that on my computer yet.
  4. Damn, can't this be adjusted?with an adjustable castor rod and adjustable strut tops?
  5. Hey everyone, I got a question.. Will SA60 celica front suspension, (by suspension I mean: complete struts, lca's, brakes and caster rods) fit in my AE71 corolla? I am already aware that the spring rates will be different, but an other thing I want to know is, will the caster rods from the celica work with my corolla or should/ can I use my ae71 ones? And also are the celica lca's longer then my ae71 ones, like will they give me more camber?
  6. haha yep
  7. well..... its been a while since i posted on here, anyway, here's some news, i had a bit of an accident in the nova, drove it into a big cane drain and bent the whole car when it bottomed out on the edge, so she was pretty much a write off, doors didnt line up, close or opened properly. I ended up buying myself a stock AE82 cs in quiet good condition for 800 bucks, drove it standard for a while, then decided to put the 7afe out of the nova in it removed the a/c and the ae82 has no power steering. The car is now my daily, goes quit well beats standard v6 bommodores of the line no problem, and handles very good with new struts and just low king spring. I'm planning on keeping this as a reliable daily as i just bought my self an Ae71 to play around with.
  8. NAME: Guillaume CAR: 84 AE71 CSX corolla ENGINE & DRIVELINE: completely stock 4ac, stock 5 speed, i'v only just bought the car, but i'm gessing these have a t50 from factory? stock diff......now have a small port, just not in the car yet, need to sort out my noisy diff and very worn gearbox, sticks into gears and crunches in most gears:(....drives me insane SUSPENSION & BRAKES: stock for now...now with adm ae86 front struts, adjusted front caster to the max :), Trd oil front shocks, and slotted front adm ae86 front discs, ferodo pads I think WHEELS & TIRES: MA61 14 by 7 with 195/60 hankook's INTERIOR: stock, quiet clean, back seat looks like its never been sat on. BODY: a few small dents and very minor rust for around here, most of these around here are full of rust, paint is nothing special. The car is very original, still has the original windscreen and all the windows with the vin stamped on all of them......Matt black front end of my spare 71. OTHER: Got all the books for the car, the car was bought new at a Toyota dealer in Albion QLD
  9. how much would you want for it?
  10. hey all, just wandering if anyone knows where i could get a water pump back housing for a 4ac ae71 corolla, repco, and the wreckers where i live don't have anything.
  11. A 4a-gze is in my future plans for this car, but for now i want better handling and i heard lovell springs were pretty good but i don't know where find any does anyone know or should i go coilovers it is my daily driven car? :hmm:
  12. mmh ok this one has the extractors exhaust and 18inch wheels with huge tyres on the rear 265's i think, i did test drive his supra afterwards and it deosnt feel like 160kw but then again i wasnt pushing it as i don't like to thrash other peoples cars and i never driven a supra before this one.
  13. my car has a 7A-FE not a 4a-fe. my mate driving my nova did get a little wheelspin due to having the stockies on the front(and lack of experience maybe) and i don't know how good the supra's launch was, but the supra was right beside us in the nova until we got to about 100km/h then started to take of. this was not a serious race i think if someone with more experience in the supra, it would beat my nova.
  14. just found out the other day that my nova is as quick as an 2jz-ge n/a supra from 0-100km/h then the supra takes off the supra had extractors and a 3inch exhaust and the nova has extractors and 2 inch exhaust.i love my nova. does anyone know where i could dyno my car on the gold coast?
  15. well now that christmas and new year is over and everything is open again, i'm getting a new windscreen and at the same time getting my rear window resealed, next will be getting the rust fixed up i removed the driver's door mould and guess what i found..... RUST >| . o well at least its not at a hard spot to get to!
  16. Not much done to the nova lately, i been working on my rj70 cruiser putting a new clutch in and fixing other small things so i can put rego on it, and then ill have something to drive while i work on the nova. but its hard to get anything done over christmas, everything is closed
  17. Here are pictures of my new wheels of an mx5, i'v been reading trhough a few post on rollaclub and i havenow decided to go with a 4agze conversion because i like the good torque down lower revs, just gotta save up for a half cut now! :hmm:
  18. went to our local wreckers on tuesday, i found some badges which i am not sure where to put on the car. But an other thing that really got my interest, was a ae112 corolla with some nice clean looking 16inch genuine mazda wheels (from a late model mx5 i think) with almost new tyres, got the wheels and tyres for 300 dollars drove home and put them on the car, it looks alot better and cleaner than the 14inch stockies,i'm really happy with them wheels. i'll post pictures of that too tomorrow
  19. day off today might go to the wreckers look around for toyota badge and some front grill ideas
  20. o ok i might look that up to see what they look like
  21. car looks good, i think i'v seen your car before maybe around tweed heads? where did you get that gear knob from? is it a screw on type?
  22. o ok yea. Arnt the FXGT an AE82? i think i might make my self a custom grill or play around witht the one i got, see if i can make something look good.
  23. yea i actually thought of that (7AGZE),i been trying to fix all the smaller things before i start working with the engine, and trying to save up too, i might do the wreckers and look for corolla badges on monday, does anyone know if any corolla's come with the same shape grill/ headlights and park lights as the nova's or is it just a holden thing?
  24. o ok yea it makes sence. on the weekend i decided to give the nova a wash and a bit of a polish it comes up ok except for the faded roof ond the paint that is peeling of the front and rear bumpers. the door moulds have a chrome strip on them the chrome is faded and worn so i decided to make my own stripes with red race tape, it looks quite good too! oh and i removed the holden badge from the front but it looks a little empty now :hmm:
  25. i'm pretty sure in toyota's they do only come out in the seca RV and the later models, but yea i didn't know nova's came with 7a's until i got this one.
