Hey guys finally i have found myself a ke20 and been able to go through with the sale. I bought it Friday off Ra28gt and have been loving life since. I haven't taken any pictures as yet but hes made a thread about it... Looks the same so far... I do like the granny look so i think that i will go with that so far.. Plans are to put a sun visor on it and maybe widen the stock 12". It does need new carpet and roof lining that will be done in the next few weeks. Other than that its up in the air. The car comes with a spare 3k engine and i am undecided whether or not build that up with cam, webbers etc.. or go for a 4/5k? would it be worth spending money on a 3k? At the minute I am busy building a custom parcel shelf that will let me fit 6x9s and 6" splits with them being covered... yet to find out how but ill work something out. Cheers Tom

Looking at a 1991 sx 4age hatch... the engine mounts would be the same right? would it be a better option to keep the gearbox or replace with the sx? Cheers Tom

Ive found an sx seca with a silver top 20v? would this be an option? because of it already being fitted and all i could use what is currently being run? Cheers Tom

After doing a quick search nothing that helps me specifically was found.. I have decided like many others to do a 4age conversion... I have been told that if i stay with the 4age, it will bolt straight in.. I have ae92 which 4age models does this include? I think I will try and find an sx seca as a donor as gearbox and random extras like the dash will be included.. what do you think? Thanks for your time Tom

Firstly i realise that this has probably been covered numerous times before.. after doing a quick search i couldnt find anything.. Budget is low.... Whats the best and easiest engine to convert in an ae93.. taking out the 4afe and replacing it with something that moves... Thanks a lot Tom

hahah yeah that does sound like a good plan.. either 20v in the ae or something ganstar like a rotary or sr20 in the ke20

The current problem is that i own an ae94 which as my thread says its been lowered tinted exhaust and thats about it.. But ive always wanted a ke20... My dad owned a ke10 'when he was a boy' and thinks that the current model i have now is good... What should I do? Sure i could put a better motor in the one i have now but its still fwd and shit... would much rather do it to a 20? What are your thoughts? Regards Tom

Hey fairly new to posting but have been lurking the site for a few years now... Finally got my P's round december last year.. yet to loose them earlier this year... Ive got an 1993 corolla manual with 189,XXX on the clock, which has been lowered with 15's on it... Doesn't look too bad but iv'e always had my eye on a ke20.. Inside is stock as a rock.. although have put a full Alpine system ranging from head unit, 2x 6" with tweaters... 2x 6x9 in custom parcel shelf amp and sub... The car didnt come with a tacho so i went a got a stock cluster from u pull it and fitted that in it... Thats about it.. Cheers Tom
