ok guys, just need alot of help before i take any steps into this conversion.
last saturday my stock 1.5L toyota paseo engine blew, only 800m from my place that i had just left. havent checked out the motor yet, but have a feeling one or two of the conrods have snapped, and the block has 3 holes in it, which are big enough to put your fingers through, making it possible to feel the pistons inside the barrel.
i have since been looking into the costs and hassles of inserting a new motor, but would like to insert something with a little more reliability and power, and have been told that i should look into a 4AGE as they may fit. can you help me with this? and if so, it would be much appreciated if you could supply some helpful hints or info on the difficulties and methods of fitting the motor in.
but the main conern is, would everything measure up easily? eg. belts, etc
I'm in alot of trouble so this help would be great.
