  5. I had the cartridge for his WOLF here, loaded my 23Psi tune into it and its on its way back over the tasman as we speak. There have been a few laptop issues so we are trying to bypass them to get it going for now, spoke with Si a few days ago and he is very frustrated with it all and will have a good go at it when he gets the cartridge and can fire it hopefully. BTW: my block, crank, rods are ready for assembly just waiting on the head now. :nervous: |blink|
  6. Yeah i think so, mine also goes through the timing retarder for the NOS. I'm not sure why you are having so much trouble??????

  10. Si I didnt have any trouble hooking mine up using a usb to serial adapter. Are you using the cable that came from wolf, from the ecu to the serial adapter???? SOunds to me like there is a com port issue, have you selected the right com port in the software. RING ME!!!!!!!!!! if you need help.
  11. No man,i want you to learn from other peoples knowledge and experience. The whole point of this discussion is to try and let you know that you are and will eventually do enough damage to your turbocharger by not running some sort of pressure discharge valve once the throttle is closed on a turbocharged car. The lower the boost the less the amount of damage every time BUT it is subjecting the turbine wheel and comp wheel to extra stress unnecessarally. But if you can't get your head around the science of air movement and closed circuits then you will never understand why we are recommending that you fit some sort of BOV whether it be plumb back or external. Good luck. MAtt
  12. So maybe the problem will be even worse due to MORE airflow but less pressure. SAME PROBLEM ,different scope. Anyway ill sit back and wait for it to happen, keeps me in business people that don't listen. MAtt
  13. 10Psi thats not turbocharged. :y: :S :P :sob:
  14. Just another person that is trying to re-invent the wheel Si. Mate, trust me i own a turbocharger repair business,if you don't run some sort of BOV,even if it is plumb back eventually you will do damage to the turbo. You know that noise when you back off from what ,that is the comp wheel trying to jump out of the comp cover. Go and re-educate yourself. Matt
  15. Why is that are you suggesting that he doesn't need to use one!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P :sob: :bash: OH here we go again! :y: :S
  16. You gotta have it man,if you try and get off the gas at big boost it will tear that comp wheel right of the shaft if you don't have something. Oh forgot to comment on how good thoise injectors look!!!!!!!!! :y: Matt
  17. What do you mean "maybe a BOV" Its a necessity man. MAtt
  18. Yeah k
  19. If youve got a hand controller you can get it running. Its really easy. Matt
