  1. Good Luck!!!!!!!!
  2. Id like to map the boost curve??, have you got a copy of the dyno run. MAtt
  3. Just need to be careful not to underdrive the comp wheel,if you run a bigger comp wheel with the small turbine wheel it may struggle to turn it .I reckon you need a bigger turbine wheel but keep the same A/R and comp wheel. Is the tune ok,timing top end. Matt
  4. don't go the .64 man FFS, do you want me to take a look at the one youve got. MAtt
  5. If its a 5K it wont work fellas, they have a flange on the stud to stop people overtightening the rubber gasket and the flange WONT come out the 6mm hole in the sump. Been there tried that. MAtt
  6. Copper head gasket are the go if you want to run big boost and have no possible gasket issues and you can re-use them over again. Yes the block needs to be oringed. Matt
  7. Yes someones gotta do it,but i wonted to do one change at a time,my a/r is .48 with a comp wheel in between both sizes. Ok if you want some more info, mine is off a SAAB 9000 2.3litre, the old garret part number is TB2531. http://www.spooledmotorsports.com/turbocha...29_Turbocharger Definately try and get the .48 rear housing and if you want it modded send it to me  Matt
  8. Does the boost drop off at all at higher RPM,i reckon you need a bigger comp wheel. Not sure changing the turbine end is the go but. Matt
  9. MORE BOOOOOOOOOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doesnt seem to come on boost strong, does it hit hard when it does,15 PSI is not low boost really. You aint living dangerously yet. MAtt
  10. Darren I said exactly the same thing ,its not i don't believe you Si but it just doesn't add up mate. MAtt
  11. :D :) ;) ;)
  12. Argh its all good mate, gotta take the piss when the time arises. MAtt
  13. Really not good enough is it. "absolutely" Matt
  14. My Crane HI-6 does that and it rocks  MAtt
  15. If you use a STD head gasket it will be around 8.2:1 depending on how much the head has been shaved and what the piston height is. MAtt
  16. Hows the clutch feel
  17. Nice blank page :hmm:
  18. Yeah didnt bother me,but thought it was a bit late over there
  19. He messaged me at like 11.00pm so he better have it going. :hmm:
  20. More info mate, you aint gonna get much help like that. When does it smoke What colour is smoke. Has it just started since putting turbo on. Did it run ok before. MAtt
  21. Cam Long time no talk mate. What did he do exactly, did he block of the feed to the lifter gallery all together??? I have restricted it so far and no problems so maybe i should just block it off hey. MAtt
  22. Yeah i understand you can get whatever size hydraulic you want ,BUT i reckon that you are better of with a solid when going big cams which result in high RPM applications. Hydraulic lifters don't give as good high RPM power durability due to lifter bleeding and pumping up. Matt
  23. Does it have the head of it too. :) :)
  24. Yeah i know,i know. The turbo has come up matched really well,i have done some extensive porting on the exhaust side of the cylinder head to slightly increase turbine back pressure and it has made big differences to lag times.
  25. Madrolla is back on the streets of Perth :bash: Will be dynoing the car on saturday for a mild street tune (8Psi) cause thast all the clutch will hold ATM,i have ordered a Cushioned Button clutch for after i have run the engine in. don't expect any big numbers as i am only tuning AFR's for low boost and safe run in for now. Anyway i have taken video of it running so you can all see what it sounds like etc. :y: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=GKKdXZizy3M Matt
