  1. Narva make these chrome bezel warning lights in red, green, blue and amber from memory. they might be good? edit: heres what I'm talking about.there called pilot lamps  http://narva.com.au/products/browse/pilot-lamps
  2. with your new dash do you have any left/right indicator lights to tell you if your indicators are on?
  3. yep, it was the blue one. low kms wasnt it.! man i felt bad pulling bits off it :fuzz: just didnt sit well with me  All going to a good cause though. the interior is so clean in it and someone ripped the tacho gauge out of the cluster. haha. its a good shell, someone should save it..?!
  4. ^hmas ms65..? these things are cool, my mates building one up atm. hope to see yours there!
  5. ok, nabbed the wagon tailgate at centre rd. its also got the washer jet nozzle on the top of the gate which i will have to weld/fill in and also the wiper arm hole needs to go. i want to keep the panelvan back (much smoother than a wagon) original looking so people notice the difference between wagons and vans. also re headliner, wagons have the holes up the top for the rear seatbelt hangers and two jesus handles for the back passengers, so i decided I'm not going to fit a wagon headliner in my van. two many extra holes, so i'll just get a new one made by an upholester :fuzz: ok, now back to the carport to fiddle with the car in the dark
  6. Thanks buddy  there is a nice blue ke70 wagon at centre rd which I'm going to hit up for parts aswell. what colour was the interior on the wagz at campbellfied? I'm looking for a cream coloured roof lining.
  7. ive got sunday free so ill be there in the van  ^ still want that radiator/fans bamboo??
  8. doing some tidying up on the van atm and have a couple of questions: does anyone know for sure if a low roof wagon tailgate will fit directly onto my van? pretty certain it will, but thought id check first with the experienced people on here. only difference i can spot is the obvious rear wiper blade on the back of wagons. other question was the headlining. does wagon headlining fit a van..? this I'm not too sure on because I'm guessing it might be different around the front doors (van doors longer) and the extra rear doors.. Ohh got a cheapo pair of new steering tyres. they suck. i should have spent more cass and got better ones  click* add reply. heh
  9. nice one re'. i like that you put on some old plates too. why not low though?? going offroad with it :jamie:
  10. that lip fits overrated. nice one! you gonna paint it white?
  11. cheers for the comments people  Latest mod: carrying a ladder on my roof racks. its a shit one. old and wooden. need more aluminum because the weight of it is clearly slowing me down.. Haven't been able to fit my rear shocks yet either. New house now has a mud/gravel/construction site driveway. i miss my garage :) I should add a pic with my post. here's a funny one: :)
  12. gee, you could prob sell those no: plates to someone with a sprinter!
  13. cool build. i like your surge tank setup. where did you get the tank from? i've got heaps of washers in my corona struts (got them from a bolt shop) and they do fine. but my passenger side strut rattles bad too! i think its my old camber tops though. check yours too maybe? edit: fixed typing. got a bit excited..
  14. this is a cool build! can't wait to see it done. keep the progress coming mate :)
  15. if you can get 2500 for your wagon stock, then by all means ;) Umm, with the jzx breaking: i gotta say the 1j's (and 2js) are awesome engines, so tough.better than any rb motor. but its just so tempting to mod them. the more you mod it, you loose reliabilty. Also i had a jza70r and i fkn hated working on that car! every job is a headfuk, even changing the oil filter! i did the clutch on it in my backyard, changed over the twins, had to get another factory ecu because the old one died and heaps of other little bits. all in the space of 3mths :)
  16. don't sweat it man. they don't look at the car at all, they just tell you to pop the bonnet and they read the vin/eng no: and walk back inside. Ive gone to vicroads with about 6 or more cars and the most anyone did was glance inside the interior and look at the drivers seatbelt! they wont even walk around the car man. Ive been to burwood, bundoora and melton vicroads. bundoora are laid back, can't speak for broady though.
  17. ae92's will have a 4afc or 4afe bro. twincammmm!
  18. yeaha. good shit. made a booking for rego? the $35 fee you have to pay for them to basically read your engine and chassis no: is so BS! ohh, good idea on the fire extinguisher! i got one too, but only because i did my own wiring :laff:
  19. Ah the cream dream, was wondering what the progress has been!? you gotta keep it man. the x100 will break alot, so keep the wagz as a backup. In melb wagons and vans are pretty rare! what about in SA?
  20. Dude, you rolla builds are so tits! i wish you were in VIC so you can paint my car.haha keep the progress coming :P
  21. Got some KYB suzuki sierra shocks today for a wicked price! cheers Dan :( will fit them up tomorrow if all goes to plan. A pic from last weekend's cruise of the van in it's natural elements.. rain :P

just read the 13pages. wow! great build and story Rod. I was contemplating a 3sgte for my panelvan, now I'm thinking 3rz! newer motor, 700cc extra, already rwd format! dammit, now I'm gonna spend some more cash! haha
  24. ill try and get there :( I usually work Sundays, so will have to pull a few strings..
