Sorry guy for not posting for quite a long time. As for the project well, the was fitted and thanks to A1 for the tip regarding the gear lever mechanism being reversible to move the lever a few cm forward. The engine fired ok BUT the problem is with the thottle body for those not familiar with the vvti the throttle jacks fitted to the throttle body allowing the throttle full activation. In other words in my case the throttle would go half way without oppening the throttle flap triedto find why coudnt.the Rpm is not workin too Any guy who has any idea on the vvti throttle activation whether rpm not working has to to do with it :P

A1 I might understand when I see the gearbox which is at the garage, I really need to forward the gearshift to avoid cutting the structural beam which the Ke70 desperately needs especially with more bhp. And another problem is the swaybar (stabiliser) the oil sump is in way of the swaybar :)

By the look of the altezza engine and gearbox with back shift position the gear lever will be infront of the rear seat :jamie: What other shifter will fit this gear to bring the shift forward. :D

Thanks again TRD yes I checked the AFM on the 2004 camry and the part number is identicle to Altezza afm number

I'm from Dubai and yes we drive on proper side of the road :D For those familiar with this swap the brake booster will be on the opposite side of the intake manifold (clearance problem) :jamie: Give Ideas on repaint colours something mature not shouting look at me colours and low profile for the law inforcers as everywhere!

Thanks to you all . Yes thats what I'm hoping to do with your valuable help and experience. I have RWD 3sge beams manual transmision.It has part of the wiring and the ecu. the car the ke70 . Before i start i want to get the diff.So off to the jdm suppliers I went equiped with my measuring tape because it seems the width of diff is the only deciding factor I have hoping to find something close to width of ke 70 with the bonus of lsd, 4 or 5 studs. I will post pictures of the diff once i locate it.

TRD Thank you :D This is a relief because altezza parts are rare at used parts importers and the dealers never sold altezza in this part of the world. Found this mystery item atached to one of the fuel lines wonder how many Hp it adds

Its rear wheel drive type so it from the altezza And it had this header fitted on it. don't know what other goodies it has inside?????????? :D It tags on it one says JASMA and the other 5Zigen

Thanks for links Nick,But didnt find any solution there. Your idea of geting rid of the hotwire and using a map sensor requires a stand alone that will also run the dual vvti which means alot of money especially since I have the stock ecu. :P

I hope this is in the right place to ask I purchased a 3sge G1 beams. It has the ecu ,but does not have the AFM. Will an afm from other toyotas work with engine. If yes what model will suit or even be an upgrade(if afm are upgraded) :P

Now that I'm really excited. Like the saying don't count your chics before the eggs hatch.I better go and buy the engine first day of the week, saturday as it is here Ill go and get it. One thing of conern is some sellers on odd engines or sophisticated tend to on as is basis So what to look for before paying.

Thanks for the links, the second did link for diff size did not work! A long time a back I did come across a red top 3sge beams but it was with without the ecu and with chopped wiring. I have been looking a beams engine for a very long time. The one I found is rear wheel with 6 speed gear it says 3sge G2 beams with ecu but without the fuse box. What does the G2 stand for? I hope the lack of the fusebox will not complicate matters. By what Soulsearcher says one year and the wiring isnt sorted out is not encoraging. :cool:

Thanks Nick, I'm from U.A.E Dubai :cool: I currently don't own a corolla but I'm aware of the beams engine.While searching for parts at the jdm used suppliers I found the engine 3sge beams manual rear wheel very rare here. Quick search on what suitable car for it that can be registered.Old cars are rare here due to corosion and strict renewal of registeration .So hoping to locate reasonable clean ke70. G series & F series are from what cars
