cheers, it has about 3 weeks of rego left. I plan to re-register it, take the 3k out and swap the bits over as quickly as i can.

Its been a while since i've done anything to the car, with all the wedding planning and stuff. I got the chance to buy this car and JUMPED AT IT!!! Its a registered minter (well pretty much) with only 72,000 kms. (yes i have service history to prove it!!) I'm going to put the 4age into this one instead once I re-register it. I will have to do the firewall again but this has no rust, where as the blue one has some nasty rust in one of the chassis rails and hasn't been registered in many years. So this seems the sensible thing to do.

Another dude i know wants a set to mount his 20v into his ke20. There seems to be a fair bit of demand for these - can someone in the fabrication/welding industry start making some sets please? There are three of us with 4ages in ke20s and our mounts were just eyeballed off a set which were dummy fitted, so we wouldn't mind some which sat the engine a bit lower. so thats potentially four sets for me@ $???

pasta with kidney beans, mixed frozen vegies and pasta sauce mixed through. and i'm having an alcohol free week.

ke25racer, any chance of some pics? I wouldn't mind having my 4age sitting a bit lower in my ke20. 20's and 25's share the same engine cross member don't they?

the setup i've bought has been used with success on a ke20 for ages. while the stroke of the piston is reduced (smaller brake master cylinder) the bore has been increased. My mate is still using the same setup on his GZE with small port inlet manifold with T28 turbo. He is a qualified mechanic.

hi mate, I have a small port 4age in a ke20. I have just bought a 3/4" trailer brake master cylinder which is still pretty close to the manifold. not sure if this will help

Nice car, very nice colour too! i bet anything it gets there a lot quicker than my old 318i (140kmh in 3rd @ 6200rpm, 3.6:1, 5spd)!!

Sounds like fun. do most people run cages? did the jdm ke20/25s come out with a 12" or 13" wheel?

i would buy some if they can mount the motor really low. mine don't give much bonnet clearance and there seems to be a bit of clearance above the steering. there was a guy on here who was going to put a 4agze into his ke20 but he might have given up because of the mounts for some reason.

f*ck! they must be rare in WA, lol. its a shame, i could of cut the quarter panels out of my parts car before i chucked it and sent them to you. I think you should start a thread in the projects section, so you can let us know how you go. worth the effort though, they are sic cars!!

old magazines rock!!! even though i hate commonbores, i must say the vl looked heaps better than THAT old falconio. I remember the cop car vl's and thought they looked cool. how times change, i saw a terios/holden cruze/shit small 4wd cop car car in the city the other day...wtf???
