  1. i'm feeling a little guilty about "molesting" my new one. it has 72000 original kms, overrated interior etc. i'm taking the hammer and grinder to the firewall in a few weeks time...
  2. the lift pump i used is a Facet NP-151. 2.5-4.5 PSI, 70lph. Irokin, i'm not sure why i did it that way - seemed to make sense when i did it and i copied a setup on a friends identical car which works so... how much difference would it make? wouldn't both ways only return fuel to the main tank when the surge tank is full enough to force the fuel back back through the "return-to-tank" line?
  3. you would have to drive it for ages to make any sort of gain from the economy vs. the amount spent on doing it. ever thought of buying an old diesel merc?
  4. lift pump is a high flow/ low pressure "facet" pump. will dig up the part number for you. Yes will be using a relay for both pumps.
  5. what car?
  6. here is the one i did
  7. does anyone use that valve protection stuff?
  8. someone start making some te27 flares!!
  9. is it required to run back through the engine in all states? here in NSW, i have seen some cars with fan$y catch cans which are pretty $howy

  11. not cheap indeed.
  12. ...will just need some large washers to cover the elongated holes
  13. I wired up my first alarm this week. its a two way alarm - it sends info to the remote (if within 1000m) which has a cool lcd screen. also has a remote start module i haven't wired up, only because the 3k is a bitch to start. will use this when the 4age is in to get the heater cranking on cold mornings. Also got both recaros in this week, hope to swap the fuel system from the blue car over this weekend, suspension next week...
  14. both mine are recaros - would they be approved?
  15. can you get done in NSW if you use the standard seat rails and just elongate some holes to make an aftermarket seat fit?
  16. nice, what colour you gonna go?
  17. is that your inlet manifold? if not, there was a 4age RWD inlet manifold on ebay this week for the 86kw big port motor.
  18. the motor in my ke20 is from a front wheel drive (yes the block design was first used as RWD) but people in california are putting FWD VTEC engines in there ke20's - anything is possible, some things are easier than others. :) who says dyslexia isn't funny?
  19. yep, i'll be getting superlites on my '20 for sure. 13" or 14" love em - i wanted a set on my mini but then wrote it off
  20. fastback corolla! the project will be a success - and you will be burning loads of dudes. i'm doing the same to my peanut but using the smallport engine.
  21. yeah, willow green! (got mine last monday!)
  22. Cool, would love to see some pics of mounts - with measurments photoshopped in.
  23. Cool, would love to see some pics of mounts
  24. Very nice, love the colour. wish there was a ke10/20 club in sydney...
  25. some of these cars come out with these engines as standard so why not buy one with it already in? If you have added stuff to your car like fancy gear knobs and chrome rims and now want it to keep up with other cars then you could swap the motor yourself. it would bolt straight in.
