kangaroosa, what model was your BW diff out of?

looks cool but it might be easier to get an early model grill instead otherwise you should get a late model bonnet to match the lines.

oh, it sucks on the freeway too with 5th gear humming at 3k+, plenty of power though. seems to get to 180 pretty quickly. i've got 2.5 all the way through and i need a much quieter muffler. Drove it to the Blue Mountains last weekend which was bearable but we had to drive my wife's daewoo (;)) to bega this week coz its so much nicer over longer distances.

just have to change gear too quickly. nicer to start in 2nd.

i have a small port in my ke20. it goes good but 1st gear is a bit useless, mind you i'm running a fairly weak ke55 4.33 diff.

i saw pictures of this car on an orignal brochure for sale on ebay. i'm sure its a 4 door sprinter, not necessariily with a t motor though.

i don't know enough about drivetrain losses. i would of hoped you got more than 87rwkw. what is the standard output of the 4agze? 120kw?

i'm keen to get a set of ebay specials ; those lovells and kyb shocks. seem like a cheap option to get my suspension sorted a bit. anyone have any bad experiences with either brand of shocks or the seller?

why insure it? only worth $8k. after 4-6 years of ownership you would be ahead if you saved the insurance money. Personally i'd buy a wrx for $12-15k and not insure. great awd car stock standard.

which car are you going to put it in?

i have a small port red top. cheers, sounds like a deal. i want to sell some things i don't need (stock ECU, loom, sensors, silvertop quad throttles)before i buy anything else though.

got the car back, goes like stink. :y: :) :y: have a few bits and pieces to do now: put my other gauge cluster in, with tacho and make the old cable clutch hole big enough for the speedo cable. get a catch can, the 1.25l bottle doesn't look too good. get some longer wheel studs for the front so i can run the fwd stockers for a while until i get the suspension all sorted out. I have new bushes all round but the shocks and springs are really crap. If i get lowered suspension i may have to get the exhaust redone to go under the diff :(

sorry, this is probably way off topic but; if i want forced induction on my 16v is it best to swap to a gze or just get a set of forged pistons in a lower CR? and maybe a set of tough head studs? so are all the rods the same?

I was speaking to a dude today who used to have a ke20 and he said he was pretty sure he put suzuki sierra leaves in it as a cheap fix for firmer suspension. Anyone on here heard about this one?

are they 14" or 15" ? what are they worth?

the 2.8l is a straight six (m52b28). there was a 3.0l v8 in e34 5 series.

there was a set of 4age - ke mounts on ebay the other day for $150 "buy it now"
