don't be scared off at thought of spending money on performance, if you add up the cost of all those neons and ICE sh!t then you would be halfway there in terms of money spent on an engine conversion. having a bit more power would make it a much more pleasant driving experience than lights and beats.

there was a factory purple colour which is pretty close to this one but it wasn't metallic.

it sounded like he has a '91 nova here in australia. the only holden nova i've seen is in the ae92 corolla shape. holden and chevy are both GM brands which is why they both rebadged the corolla for their own markets.

my mate is using a celica steel case with his gze turbo conversion, he didn't even chance his t50 behind it.

i'm not sure why the s6 and s8 get the v10 gallardo motor (albiet detuned) and the r8 "only" gets the v8. i reckon their excuse about not wanting to create competition in house is BS as the price difference between the lambo and the r8 would be big enough not to mention people buying lambos/ferraris are even bigger badge snobs and would turn their nose up an audi "supercar".

going good mate, you are a real craftsman with the anti rust mission! i pulled my battery holder out and thought that i should also take out the plate that it bolts to so i could clean up the rust underneath it. it was a bastard to get out - i kept missing the spot welds with my drill. anyway after i finally got it out there was SFA rust under it anyway, dude i had the sh!ts.

how about 4 total categories? 1. Corolla, stock engine or modified (including turbo, nos etc. but must be same size i.e if it came with a 3k it can't be in this list with a 5k) 2. Corolla, engine conversions 3. All other cars, stock engine modified 4. All other cars, engine conversions just a thought.

nice car! do you have to shorten both sides of the r31 diff? who is doing the minispool? i thought you could get a ford LSD to go in the diff, but then i've read they don't last very long. love the wheels! not a big fan of the dash and gauges but i'm more of a sleeper fan.

there are two new Ford v8 things with the orange stripes going around as unmarked cars up this way, they are now well known and are farely obvious with those stripes.
