  1. LJ + 2JZGTE.....???? looks very nice andrew.
  2. you can have a surge tank in the boot. i had to make up a shield for mine to get past engineering to stop anything sliding around and bashing into it (even though I told him that nothing is ever in the boot). I just butchered a battery box and cable tied the thing in there, and then removed it later.
  3. i'll give you 6 months before you decide you need a turbo! :bash:
  4. 3rzfe+T would be so awesome in a ke20.
  5. old lancer or colt? mini? mazda? datto?
  6. saab is fwd offset too - i had them on my ke20 and had to run spacers on the front, rear was sweet as the ke55 bw68 diff I had was wider.
  7. this motor in a civic would be way cooler than in an ae82 liftback, and have a lot more resale value.
  8. any fwd corolla isn't worthy of an f20c, especially yours.
  9. the cost of the engine alone will be more than the car will be worth once its finished.
  10. hard choice, I've loved every car I've had (which isn't many, only 4 including the current one) for different reasons. I don't count my work vehicles. *67 mini deluxe very low km *84 bmw 318i high km *74 ke20 low km *06 xr6 turbo low km pick of the bunch for real love factor is the ke20, although it brought my wife to tears and had to go to make way for our baby human, as it will never be able to be replaced. It was such a clean example and definately shouldn't have been able to go as fast as it did. It really saddens me how much trouble its bringing its new owner.
  11. we recently just got some standard issue plates BJM56X, if you squint it can say BUMSEX.
  12. huge congrats to you and the family!
  13. i guess I can't come in my new xr6 turbo then :fuzz:
  14. looks good. normally haven't been a fan of 20's with flares, 25's yes but 20's no. I think yours gets away with it because of the wheels and the colour scheme. I'd probably take off the chrome strip now though as the flare sits a little close and looks cluttered, besides its not exactly that original look anymore, although the rims are period correct. phew...anyways - looks good.
  15. pm sent adrian.
  16. yes but some people either have to be different or they get a 'bargain' motor and they start from there without thinking of the cost of everything else.
  17. Congrats to the whole family!
  18. damn, i just paid for some viagra and a penis enlarger, as well as buying into some sort of electronics distribution deal.
  19. the new(ish) bmw 3.0 twin turbo is 10.2:1 but only runs 8.5psi. my smallport had 10.3:1 and 10psi. 11.8:1 is very high though. could you swap the motor with someone on their 'p' license, doing a similar conversion?
  20. value for money wise its better to do the mini grand prix event, as it takes a long time with the breaks in between the individual races etc. 30min for $85 will leave you feeling like you want to head back out there anyway.
  21. cascade - future sound of london bone - sonic youth
  22. we did this as part of my buck's party years ago. highly recommended. i can't make it this time, i'm on a serious budget at the moment.
