  2. from the toy and transport museum in Wanaka, NZ they have 3 massive hangars full of random cars, planes, war machines and heaps of toys (like complete star wars collections, lego etc) you can see my happiness to find a ke20 among them. interestingly enough not one old mazda...
  3. did you reinforce the clutch master cylinder?
  4. how about putting it into a BMW? you could make some good money doing that.
  5. i drove my car home yesterday with the wastegate wired open. i'm dropping it off to get tuned on monday, so should be ready by the end of the week; all going well.

if you don't have the time to clean it up, then perhaps you could ring a mobile detailer to come and wash it and polish it up for you. i reckon this would sell in no time, it if didn't have all the crap inside and was nice and shiny again.
  7. its probably like mine, ke55 (or something else 114.3 x 4 stud pattern) discs up front and a ke55 diff. so pete, are the rims different offsets or are you running spacers at the front? is it a borg warner diff?
  8. http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/en/pages/...JZA70/jza70.htm could it be factory 1jz? nice buy anyway!

  10. i filled up the hilux yesterday, it cost $93. i'm glad my customers pay for it, and can't imagine how some of these young dudes in V8's can afford to travel to their work each day.
  11. In NSW you read this: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow...ns_nov_2007.pdf There is a table in the document outlining the maximum capacity increases etc. Then ring one of these: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow...es_apr_2008.pdf Then take your certificate to a mechanic who can do a blue slip and a brown slip (change of details form), you need these even if the car is registered. Then get a weighbridge certificate. Then take the engineering certificate, blue slip, brown slip and the weighbridge certificate to the RTA and they give you a new rego sticker with a new ref. number printed on it. Then its all legal.
  12. i see you have your car for sale. can i ask how long you have owned it for?
  13. this is a pretty good thread to read. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=17418

  15. thought about a carby rotary?
  16. love it. quite a score.
  17. bathurst has got to be a fair mission, how long does it take to drive there?
  18. the vl handbrake lever cover fits over the ke20 handbrake lever. it is a really tight fit, but you can get it on there and its much grippier and sporty looking.
  19. did you put a larger fuel line in?
  20. does the high pressure pump have a good earth?
  21. loving this car: great colour, great wheels, great conversion. is that a slidey bar type digital tacho?
  22. did you run the lift pump by itself for awhile to fill the surge tank?
  23. it seems VTEC can give you forced induction without a turbo!
  24. an update with the gauges all in and wired up. i'm thinking of mounting the coils inside the cabin under the dash as there is heaps of room there and it would look a lot neater. ...but i read you shouldn't pass the ht leads through metal, or does that just mean i need chunky grommets to add insulation? has anyone done this? it looks to be an easy job, just 4 neat holes in the firewall.
  25. loving your paintwork, this car will be a great package.
