i'm not sure if the quad throttle bodies, lighter rods and extra inlet valve will make much of a difference once you go forced induction, could be wrong.
most of the high powered 4AGTE motors are 16v.
my ke20 (75000 kms) had the chrome number plate surrounds, although they were in poor condition so i chucked em out. So i guess they were available in AUS.
2.5 weeks to go. looks like i'll be there unless this guy from QLD or this other guy from SA buys my KE20 within that time. Might even come in the Hilux or the AE112r anyway.
probably ditch the stock ECU idea, otherwise you will need the EWS key, EWS reciever ring (around the ignition keyhole ), EWS module and the ECU. Surely a standalone computer (haltech, motec) would end up being cheaper.
rated 96kw in japan due to a different ECU which needs higher octane fuel than we can get here.
our bigports are 86kw.
the 4AGZE came out in the MR2 (JDM) and some Corolla/Levin/Sprinters in the ae92/ae101 shapes.
the only difference to their NA counterparts is the pistons.
