  1. Haha, more value for money if you take it slower :lolcry: Anyone going to the BBQ? I have to work
  2. Three generations White Corolla pride 1.8 litres of tyre-flexing, ball-busting... fuel economy Beware the innocent twinky ZZE asses
  3. Yeah I was pretty worried about Thomo's times too until he SMASHED me! Haha. For those of you who couldn't make it... Clicketty click: Luckilly I stopped filming after the time was announced so managed to avoid all the swearing from certain spectators that followed :D I improved my PB down to 53.20 but, like Todd, I'm dreaming 2ZZ dreams. Really good day for the Corollas! :P I'll be uploading a few pics next, just wanted to get the video done first.
  4. Exhibit A: :jamie:
  5. Yeah mate I'll be there, just trying to get someone to cover my shift at work. Maybe if I had a 2ZZ I could give the record a shot  Lol nobody listen to Todd, he always gives himself a bad wrap saying "lack of talent" and "no coordination" but I'd like to see somebody steer that AE82 around the track any faster!
  6. Haha I tell you what you can't trust those public servants can you  Found this on his USB drive
  7. agreed, we'd forgive you more if you provided details
  8.
  9. Haha. MEGA thanks to Todd for the footage :P we owe ya one
  10. Yeah I just thought either way I'm gonna get sunburnt :) so I went with hillclimb :P Good fun again. The best part about it is that the next one is in only 2 weeks
  11. Exams done and dusted, see you at the next race :lolcry: Nice wheels Todd! White on White FTW!!!
  12. Hats off to all of you, great effort by everyone. Todd and Thomo you will be beating me when the next meet rolls around, really impressive times. 'Rolla pride B) Now back to econometrics for me :D
  13. LOL nice avatar Todd :)
  14. I'm out :y: Exam period next 3 weeks :) it's all bad
  15. Awesome! That's exactly what I was thinking. We have spare rails somewhere too I'm sure of it... No intention of using it on the road
  16. Cool thanks for the info Todd. Mine won't be anything fancy either (second hand?), I'm mainly after support, weight reduction hadn't crossed my mind until you mentioned it. Did you get a set of rails from the wreckers and modify them to fit or did the seat come with rails that fitted in? I'll shoot somebody an email or ask the scrutineers next time as to the safety issues and possibility of DIY. My contribution: hitting the witch's hat on the double-apex right-hander at the top of the hill... Wasn't too bad, got a talking to though (seems I wasn't the only one who hit it :) )
  17. Too right! Uncomfortable all bloody day... Only chopped 0.04 off my best, got down to 53.72. A question that you guys might be able to help me out with... Can I run an aftermarket bucket seat and still be eligible for Type 1/2? It specifies full interior trim but I'm not sure if it all has to be standard. I'm sick of using my left leg to brace myself :)
  18. Nice to meet you Todd and Thomo  My PB for the day, 53.76 Bring on Sept 30!
  19. Trendact tell me more about this pocket bike club. My mates and I bought a pocket bike off eBay for a bit of holiday fun. It seems like a quick little deathtrap... just the way we like it. (Example: Are they meant to have no suspension?) Anyways here is a pic of a meet we had when everyone actually was in the same place at the same time. You will recognise Brad's sportivo (RO114) and of course Glenn's turbo 1ZZ. My car was virtually stock at this stage but I'll post up a more recent photo another time.
  20. ...and that would be me. Hi all, I was reminded of this forum the other night when a yellow KE coupe (or was it a 4-door? Can't remember) cruised past me on the Monaro on my way home from work. Judging by the 17's on the back and the club decal on the side, I'm assuming it was Rolla Boy. So I thought I'd come and say g'day. I'm 19 and studying at ANU, I drive a white ZZE122 Conquest. Current mods include a front bar and eyelids from Hong Kong (which make it look quite different), 17" Advanti wheels, lowered on Pedders springs with Sportivo shocks all 'round, 3A-Racing exhuast (chrome twin-tip), and countless little details which the ZZE purists among you would spot. Inside I have a stereo install using gear from Alpine and Soundstream, custom door trims with "RunX" embossing and integrated white neons made by The Lifestyle Store in Sydney, Toyota aluminium pedals, TRD throwover seatcovers, 400g weighted Razo knob and plenty of other interesting bits'n'pieces and lighting around the cabin. You guys should look us up on TOC for meets etc, although all our Canberra members are ZZE12# drivers (and so are 99% of the active nationwide members). Anyways, on the road if you spot the TRD badge and twin-tips then that's me - give us a wave
