Nostalgia

On the way to town from Kingston on the Southern Outlet this morning I saw a red AE71 wagon sitting by itself in one of those little turnoffs. Was dumped on its guts with black stockies, little bit of wear and tear and, if my memory serves me well, the front bumper was a little untidy in the front right corner. Thought maybe it was stolen and dumped, as my mates Liberty was stolen, dumped and burnt out on the outlet a few months back. Just a warning and a heads up if someones looking for it. By the way! If it wasn't stolen but you just left it there, GO GET IT. Cars don't last long on the outlet! Little scummers will be all over it like herpes. Toby

You know what? I've been a TopGear fan for years now, and I get excited to wait for TopGear Australia! I don't think the acting is too bad, and even if it is, surely if you're as much of a car fan (or top gear fan) as I am you can see past that! As with heaps of shows and movies these days! I LOVE the fact that my favourite show ever is being given the chance to be Australian! And even if it's not perfect, when it is, what could be better!! And yes I do agree with The overrated KE70, selling them off and donating the money to charity is a great idea! And seeing cars we love get trashed and make us angry gives us something to be angry and laugh about in the future! Just seeing the dent in the drivers door in the 25 was heartbreaking, but I love that! I'm on the edge of my seat the whole time going "Don't scratch it. Don't scratch it!!!" A wild guess and don't laugh but could your overflow tank be full (if you have one) to the top as well as your radiator? Would stop water or coolant from being able to spill into it and not cool down, therefore over heating and spurting out? I heard it on 'The Garage' on Discovery

My mates and I had a go of doing this with a mid 80s ford passenger door we found at the tip! Just drill a small hole just under the window near the rubber (our door had chrome trim, we just drilled a hole in it) We had 7mm thick mild steel bar, bent it onto an L shape and had it connected to the mechanism inside, and the other end sticking out the top! With a vavle cap for extra cools and +5hp

Now now, no need to start a fight in the school yard kiddies :blush: Some nice wheels around, Maybe people could start noting the ride height of their rollas also? Considering it can change the look of a ride and rims completely Just my 2c!
