  1. is it the ae95? if so, will need to go with a manual ae95 box (unless u want to go fwd c series lsd box or something). most people will say 4age but id say 7afe so a simple swap (or 7age if your keen)
  2. just did a ae71 auto to manual conversion, its pretty stright forward with most of it bolt on. Depending on the cost of the ae71 it might be cheaper to get the convo parts when doing a 4age convo. ae71 4a auto to man parts: t50 to suit 4a (watch out for 2t gboxes, different output splines etc...) t50 bellhousing bolts (2x are longer on the manual box, had to use lcd bolts) t50 to 4ac manual gbox support/stays (the auto ones are slightly different, but can be modded to suit) t50 clutch fork and bearing t50 clutch slave t50 clutch line with hose (go braided for 4age convo) t50 clutch master cylinder t50 shifter (try to get the complete setup with the metal washer plate to hold down the rubber cover) ae71 manual pedal box (can mod ae86 or t18 ones but not really worth it) ae71 t50 gbox crossmember (ae86 will fit with modification, not worth it) 4ac 200mm 6bolt flywheel (fwd 4ac, 4afc or 4afe might fight, 7afe is 212mm to soak up the huge 4ac powa) spigot bearing (auto or fwd 4ac don't have these) 4ac/4age clutch (depending on flywheel size) ae71 manual tailshaft (wagon might be s series (?) so will need to get ae86 tailshaft - better if going t series later on - ae86 tailshaft wont bolt to borgy) +ke70 4a engine crossmember (lca will bolt in) 4a engine with rwd engine mounts and gbox stays 4a exhaust (fwd exhaust manifold is different) engine loom (i think 4ac and 4kc are similar, fwd 4ac connector is similar to ae86 easy mod to suit) alternator - not sure if the same as 4ac/4kc unless ur picking up the ae71 for $500 its not worth it for parts imo, better of just modding the ae71 with the coil spring rear end. mods: 2x holes bolt and 1x pedal hole in the firewall, widen the shifter location, 4ac auto loom bypass shifter start lock and reverse light sensor.
  3. I got my seats from a Swift GTI 1992/3 (GA) had to remove the seat rails that bolted into the swift seat and replace it with the ae71, had to drill new holes in the rail to bolt in. come to think of it, the AE71 stock seats sit alot higher than the ae86 seats so maybe the swift seats might work out alright.
  4. The seat rails need to be swap over otherwise easy enough. However, they do sit alot higher, if your tall then don't bother... had them in my ae86 and my head kept tapping the room when on bumper roads or speed humps. (6ft)
  5. a locked borgy can last a while behind a 4age (had one for few months worth of fun), with a gze or tubro id fear the box would go before the axle
  6. would need to convert the rear end to liveaxle, will not bolt in.
  7. the ZZT231R celica and the ZZE123R corolla? corolla is only 100kgs more, id assume it would go into the extra doods/rear passenger space
  8. half way should be normal? is that the bottom hose from the radiator to the engine?
  9. i know people who ran with out them for some time, don't think anyone has really has broken the bellhousing
  10. wow, those 15x7 mazda speed wheels look familiar, are they the ones from ebay?
  11. iv put the ae71 speedo into the ae86 cluster lol, passed rwc too
  12. anyone seen postal?
  13. wont bolt in but should be easy enough to make it fit.
  14. is this the car that has the $15k ECU new from toyota?
  15. yea as above, the steering arms/knuckles need to be swapped over they shouldn't be hard to get cos every one keeps getting the jdm power steering arms for extra lock
  16. ke70 4k cable does the job, its abit too long but just loops around the mc and fits fine the prefect fit is to get it custom made or JDM 4age ae86 one
  17. would love to come, but i think i may need an engine and gearbox to make it a runner lol
  18. looks like fun
  19. Ok, so we putting big wheels on a AE92? and not a ke70? or both?
  20. you sold a C4 to buy a KE70?
  21. here is some 17"s the ke70 is a nugget like geminis
  22. $1000! the wheels will be worth more than the car
  23. here is a setup i had awhile back: AE86 front struts with ADM brakes, spring hats and LCA n steering arm $100 TRD FRont 8kg ae86 springs $200 (for front and rear) Gabriel Ultra GT4 ST185 Front (made up a spacer from bunnings washers) $160 ($80ea) ke70 strut tops (from car) Whiteline RCA $120 TRD rear 6kg ae86 springs Gabriel Ultra Monaro GTS/Camaro rear shocks $90 ($45ea) Whiteline Adjustable pan hard rod $100 Cut bump stops Total $760 + another $40 for wheel alignment shocks where pretty good since they where designed for a bigger car, pretty aggressive.
  24. i guess its a 4AFE motor?
