hahahah sorry to hear mate but if ya want me to rub salt into the wounds i only live 10-15 mins away from meet point at waurn ponds :lolcry: lol I just fixed my over heating probs put refreshed radiator, new head gasket, water pump, top and bottom hose, alt belt, thermostat and housing and now she is all good :dance: Def be bringing some chemiweld and some spares but I'm sure ill be right what can go wrong its a corolla after all :happy: see ya jimi

Update .... Got it running :dance: woop woop she lives to see another day got it started and all bled up hopefully and will give it an oil change tomoz :happy: Plan to change and replace a few things on thurs :wink: Fri ill recheck the clearances and make sure she is all good for the big trip GOR :dance: see ya jimi

Jaygore: Just sent my radiator and head of to get checked and the last time my radiator was pressure tested was 8 years ago :blinks: so maybe it was about time to get it fixed :happy: see ya jimi

Update... Had the day off today so i decided to get the overheating issue fixed. Pulled the head off and radiator out and got them sent out to get them checked for leaks etc... Got most of my parts like vrs kit, thermostat housing, thermostat, alt belt and getting the water pump and hoses tomoz :happy: The one thing with this vrs kit i got it cost a bit more then normal ones but it is awesome it has all the gaskets etc to suit 2k to 4k and has all the diff sized stuff over the years its a good one to buy for the shed so when ya need it for u next project it will suit any year :hmm: Will be doing other stuff to car this week so its ready for GOR :dance: see ya jimi

Hey boys and girls I would like to know if anyone from this wonderful place called VIC will be going to the Queenscliff Rod Run ???? I will be def going in my dads KE15 corolla went last year in her and was great fun and was hot hot and hot :cool: Here she is in all her glory at last years show!!!! hahah thats ok mate :happy: :blinks: that is one nice system there and i can see a bit of heat proof stuff near the floor pan in the engine bay u look like u have the same prob as me and dad i can see we don't have much clearance there either :glare: I'm sure we will do something similar :rolls: keep it up mate see ya jimi
