  1. Getting the ae71 parts shouldn't be too hard. I've don't the conversion on a fairly low budget and the parts aren't that hard to source up. AJPS or buddy parts should be able to help. You just need the ae71 xmember, tailshaft, clutch master cylinder and pedal box if you can find one although I used a modified 86 one but I think a t18 one fits without too much hassle. Also you will need an 86 or ae71 radiator. I used the standard fuel lines with a vl fuel pump. They supply plenty of fuel and are dirt cheap. I'd reccomend running a surge tank aswell and just use a vl pump for a lift pump aswell. I think i used an 86 gearbox xmember tho. Can't remember. Lol. If there's anything else you need help with let me know and I may b able to help :-)
  2. Sorry to bring this one back up but I'm doing this to my ke70 :-) Not going on the street tho lol. Drift only. I will be cutting the firewall... Alot! Lol
  3. oh yeah, jt 70r the sheds awesome aye!!! thanks once again for lettin me use it :jamie:
  4. haha, thanks guys, yeah that box is huge... custom trans tunnel is in order... gonna start looking at it soon. I'm thinking of mounting it way back to keep the center of gravity good. shifter position shouldnt be too much of a hassle as there is another mounting point for an after market shifter which sits 10" futher forward than the original... only thing is that its about $350 for the kit but i guess if it need doing its gotta be done and at least itll be further back :sob: ive got the box back now and the new clutch/flywheel setup :) its very pretty :jamie: I'm going to be using the standard VX pedal box for this conversion as it came with the box as well as the master cylinder... bit of cutting and shutting and ill make it fit :) car dumped as its got my 6 speed in the back haha giving credit to the people who've helped me mmm custom :) pretty :P just my suzuki filled with tyres and with my 50kg dog in the front seat hehe
