ok I'm a ford man, i got stuck with this holden box its a vl calais series 2. Low compression motor (will suit a bolt turbo setup with t03 setup) gearbox wont handle more then that immaculate interior lowered recently serviced drives very well 189k original k's 5spd auto. what else... yes! comes with about $1000 worth of spares, caus its what i got offered for the parts, but i said i wont part them from the car 2 spare eyelids and the piece between them. the mechanism that controls the eyelids spare spare tail lights and glove box spare and a VL 5spd manual short shifter which alone will fetch 400 also that long back piece that has the calais badge as spare. I'm a ford man as i said, so i got no use for this, it would suit a top project for the vl lover. swaps will be considered but id prefer a sale. a quicker sale will mean a lower price. get this holden out of my face please. $4000 or so. offers for swaps 4k firm.

righteeeeeoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo den this car has been out of rego almost 2years. yes you can register it so don't ask got a 67 beach buggy with 1600 motor fibre glass body, which is currently in hyfill and rubbed down 400wet. needs to be hit with 800 then its ready for spraying. reason for selling is that i had it at my brothers house and he's moving out friday, and not enough time to finish nor anywhere to put it pictures will tell the rest of the story. also if you don't like loud cars this car is not for you, its really really really loud interior is black leather with red stitching, rear seats have flame stitching. front seats are bucket seats, maybe type r seats, not sure the pics showing are of what the car was like before i starting getting it ready for paint. theres one pic of the car in hyfill before i rubbed it down. price is negotiable, and will consider swaps. this car will fetched alot more then what I'm askin when completed. and ill try find the papers with the history of the car, which came from disneyland i was told. asking $12k Isaac 0411 032 036 or 0405 94 94 93

it would pass. due top the conversion being done properly. mounts are all profesionally done with no short cuts this includes engine and gearbox mounts. actually it might not pass due to exhaust, its dumped before the diff. but not a hard fix other then that its all good, including brakes, stops excellent

bumpin this beast yeah this ones gotta go asap love it when i got too many cars and nowhere to keep them sons in hospital, meanin I'm out of work for a few months. price drop to $5500 firm. absolute bargain price, its the price of a normal 2.7 litre cars registered, recently changed the alternator and put a fresh batter on. car drives like a dream, so grab yourself a bargain engineer it, then sell it for 10k whatever rocks your boat.

how much for diff motor and gearbox, including all mounts i would of bought the car if it was a te. but its not so i gotta do my te now

its not engineered and I'm not bothered gettin it engineered. it will pass easy caus this thing stops better then new doesnt need nothing to pass rego caus i put a year rego on it. price will stay the same with the new rego

i got a fiat diff setup in mine. disc brakes and an added brake booster. stops great and the diff handles the punishment i give all day long. its a strong setup. and light and small. i recommend either fiat or bmw diff. pics below.

this car registered? if so is it engineered? and if its engineered, what did you have to do to strenghen the chassis ? or did you just drop the body on a different chassis doin a similiar project but with a lumpy 351c. your reply would be appreciated, cheers

when i ask can you slap a 351 into a ke20 i don't mean just drop an engine in and drive. i mean engineered and road legal. most will say I'm a dreamer but honestly can it at all be done? I'm not the biggest fan of turbo cars as fun as they may be the rumble of a v8 always gets me i was thinking of doing this to my mk2 cortina which is of similiar weight, but come on, in a ke20 it would be the sweetest thing. i know i can't legally put a engine bigger then a 2.0 in a ke20 and me wanting a 5.8 is a massive ask. but if i was to only use the body of a ke20. for example, use an ford xe chassis, with a ke20 body and cut the chassis to fit. anyone know of such a thing? IN AUSTRALIA not america. i don't want links to an rx7 twin turbo v8. anyone know an engineer or someone that can help? let me know. id like to try something different

we used to do this when i was workin in detailing buff the glass with compound and then with glaze. try glaze first use a buffing machine not by hand. i had glass on my liberty lookin like shit on passenger front. don't that and its like new you can also do it on headlights tail lights etc...

ok so I'm now struggling to believe the 7psi bit too. my heads done in now. i havent seen him since i posted this thread to find out more on the engine. but would this power figure be possible on higher boost? he told me it cost him 8k to 10k. he put it together himself, and made the custom manifolds and such himself. so 8 to 10k would be on machining and parts I'm guessing. he also had a motec computer running, i didnt ask much else on the engine. i guess i will only find out when its in my car and i get it dyno tuned. unless he can get me a dyno sheet. either way. if its gettin 250HP I'm more then happy in a ke20.

lets all get over the dreamer and your full of shit type messages. for the ones that had info that actually helpes i appreciate the messages. ok now to everyone, this is what i was told. 7psi 280kw at the wheels. i believe caus ive seen him put big power on small engines. its what he does. manifolds and such he custom makes himself to suit engine. i help him here n there one way or the other, he guaranteed me 10-11sec passes or my money back. once i get the engine in the car, i will get it dyno tuned and put the results here. maybe its less but then again maybe its the true power rating. my guess is less but not much less. so please, i need help regarding diff and brakes. mainly brakes. 90% lead to hilux diff and i guess it would be best. appreciate all the replies.

hey there. started a new project and scrapped the the other 3t gte ke20 project for now. purchased a very clean and straight ke20 last week. and have a 4age i wanna put it a little about this engine. ITS OFF ITS HEAD... literally. my mate had it in an mg be4 it collected a pole and now its mine a few thousand later he dyno'd the car at 280kw at the wheels, on 7psi. btw the engines turbo'd. t3 this engine is going to run daily at 30 psi. yes believe it or not 30 psi DAILY my concern now, is what diff to use. i want something light. my other ke20 has a fiat diff, but I'm not sure if it will handle that much power. i need the diff to be tuff ive considered hilux or triton, 3.9 or 4.11. what will one recommend? i want the gears to stretch or is the something else that will work better? i don't mind modifying the diff. I'm planning to minitub gearbox wise, its got a custom built supra. with short shift. 5spd and brass button clutch which atm slips and needs changing now for the brakes. this is what i want to do first before i drop the engine in. its got the stock brakes atm. whats would be the best thing to do here? i need this to stop. is it possible to get the shole front struts off a different car, and get it to fit? any help would be greatly appreciated. pics to be up soon. please don't ask whats in the engine. my answer will be its a secret. lets just say the best of the best of the best is in there.

looking to update my brakes, when i brake hard it struggles to stop. i don't lose brake pressure though ive got a brake booster connected. but doesnt help much. cars got a 3t gte. question is, how can i get bigger brakes without changin stud pattern.

ok so i finally woke up and slapped myself in the face, and went to eastern creek car is a ke20 running a 3t gte, twin cam turbo. currently gettin 154hp at the wheels (dyno'd) currently running of only 4 spark plugs, with a bullsh|t front mount, the worst piping ive seen in my life, and the shortest gear ratios going around. overall the cars a little machine and great fun and worst of all a holden camira computer. now for the details on my time. message of u were there and if u ran ur car. mine was gray with hyfill front end. looks like a pilchard my first run. r/t .238 my best reaction of 3runs 60' 2.504 my best of 3 was 2.314 on run 3 330 6.388 my best of 3 was 6.255 on run 3 1/8 9.461 my best again 9.435 (78.23 mph - 125.91 km/h) on run 3 MPH 80.77 km/h 129.99 1000 12.082 my best of the day. 1/4 14.348 run 2 was 14.435 run 3 was 14.427 MPH 99.18 km/h 159.62 ok i was on 12psi boost for any1 curious. any1 else got times?
