  1. Just got back from Canberra. Picked up this rolla :abuse: got it running and drove it home also :P $500 thankyou very much.
  2. Lol yeah hey :abuse: so the wagon would be a little more towards the rear. Then the sedan.
  3. Just found this :D on a supra forum believe it or not lol. People everywhere love ke's ;) KE30 is balanced 50.5% weight over the front wheels and 49.5% over the rear wheels... even the 'awesomely balanced best ever' AE86 is not that even a spread...
  4. Cars coming along nicely :D and Si that is one weird song lol.
  5. Thanks man. Going to go pick it up not this weekend but next. Plan is to get it regoed and put my k series turbo kit onto the 5k :D but might leave the turbo setup untill it has a stronger gearbox?
  6. Will have some better pics on the weekend :blinks: Also gotta re link the above pics once I get on the laptop
  7. I've got one of it on the trailer. Will get some more before I get back home and the. Load them upwith the laptop :blinks:
  8. Picked up the car have it on the trailer and on our way back to home. Noticed the car has a lift pump fitted st the rear under the car next to the fuel tank. And has a turbo manifold. No j pipe. Pretty basic just log style but a square log. And the turbo comes from straight across from cylinder one. Down pipe is very neat looking and turbo position is good. Front seats are torn and no front carpet but it will get the seats from my purple wagon and carpet. The dented guard looks alot better in person then it does in the pics. The bumpers are pretty good. Tailgate has rust on the botto as usual for the wagons. Overall very happy with the car. Was better then I was expecting :blinks:
  9. Yeah but it has lead into n/a motors in general
  10. Ok then. Well that's a much easier way to go about it
  11. Yeah the 13bbp would be pretty fun. Was talking to Anthony at Maztech Melbourne. And he was trying totalk me into the 13bbp. Saying that would be a very quick car due to the light weight. Spose even then it'd be struggling for traction. Will see what happens when the time comes  not saying what engine will be going in untill I actually have it and mounted lol. Want to fit rack and pinion steering from a ke70. Get my spare vl diff shortened and adapted to suit the leaf springs. And coilovers in the front with vt commodore brake setup.
  12. Will be leaving wodonga in about 2 hours on the road to Adelaide to pick it up finally:) can't wait. As soon as it's back here off with the turbo for a rwc and rego. And send the carby base and an exhaust gasket to my mate in Melbourne to get a new efi inlet and fuel rail and low mount turbo manifold made up
  13. No deff not staying with a k motor in this one anymore. That's why I got my old ke36 back it will be the daily. This one I am still deciding what engine 100% I want to be able to legally engineer it. And want it boosted. So that leaves me with up to 2,365cc turbo engine I can have legally. I have a 35/40 with 0.63 rear and a 50mm external gate sitting in my room ready for it lol. Been told 12a's are getting to hard to get parts for and to go a 13b. But can't legally have that turbocharged in the car. It still needs alot of work before it's ready for an engine to be put back in regardless. But would like to have 250-300rwkw in it
  14. That was the main reason I was thinking of it. For some more clearance down there. And also the the plenum I getting made up might possibly have short straight runners so would be alot easier being upright. I still think it looks weird though lol. So used to seeing them slanted to the max  did you just shorten the drivers side mount and lentghen the passenger side slightly Si? And the shifter still have much room to come through? Or did you bend it abit to have it up straight still?
  15. Hey mate. Is this engineered with the 13bt?
  16. Never said turbo's can't. But isn't he asking about n/a motor's?
  17. That's a bummer. I was starting to think of a upright turbo k motor  lol. Could always do a dodgy and drill the holes where the bellhousing mounts to the gearbox in the position you need them to be
  18. I thought the upright kits had a bellhousing to suit also?
  19. I love my rwd's  and k motor's. Have driven a 4agte ae82 hatch running 12psi. It was pretty damn quick. Drove it in the wet and 1st till 4th was useless. Just tramped in the front.
  20. N/a rotors can rev
  21. Microtech is good. Main reason for being cheaper is the less option and less aux ports. But as I have been pointed out by someone in the know. That you don't need all the extra aux points. So your forking out the extra $1,000 plus for stuff that your not going to use. But as said either find a tuner that specializes in the ecu you have. Or choose a tuner and get the ecu they recomend. Or if you need alot of aux point and what not make sure you get one that will support that. I will be running an lt12s in my vl and lt10s in my corolla and going to Anthony at Maztech in Melbourne for my tunes. He is an absolute wizz with a microtech  have been told time and time again that people only say microtech is shit cause they don't know how to tune them. That is what I've been told by a few people in the know
  22. Yeah i change my mind more then some chicks lol. But I can get engine and box 12a for less then the cost ofthe mx5 gearbox. Maybe I'll just shut up untill I actually get something mounted in there haha Also will have a look into that for the bp motor. And curly. At least I didn't say sr20 ;) I think you'd disown me then if I did lol
  23. Good to hear your doing the front end before adding anymore power mate ;) smart move.
  24. what port job you looking at running mate?
