  1. thanks mate ;)
  2. just put the money into making the rb20 an rb24 ;)
  3. 10" rim and only a 205 tyre? that scares me. i ran 265's on 8" rims on my old falcon
  4. yeah that would be fairly solid ;) lol, wait till your new motor is in  how much room do you have to the firewall? any pics of how you've mounted yours up close? i will be aiming for mine to be as low and far back as possible without cutting into the firewall obviously. Matt
  5. looking good. how do you find x-treme rotaries?
  6. if it needs to be custom maybe it'd just be smarter to go a t50 of an a series engine?
  7. Looking good mate. The black bay looks good. And love how low the engine sits also  are you running rubber mounts or solid mount?
  8. Maybe it's just a weber people change to often on the xf's the 36/36. Cause I hear 36/36 all the time with falcons lol.
  9. I'm not 100%. Just 36/36 sounds very familiar. And thought was falcon? Like xf? Maybe a search is in need lol. I'm off now however.
  10. Think the falcon's are 36/3. From memory. And diesel turbo. They are designed for all low end. And can normally handle alot of boost. If you already have it and it's brand new then use it. Alot of people suggest and like turbo's with 0.48 rear. So it's only a touch smaller. Little bit earlier spool. So shouldn't be to bad. See if you can find out the wheel sizes. And taz_rx or madrolla68 will know better then me
  11. Why not just use a 4age head on a 7afe block? 1.8 twin cam
  12. Sounding good mate :P the lighter the better hey
  13. Yeah that's it. I've been looking more into how to look after them properly then anything else. Plan is to just find a good stock 12a put my turbo setup on it. Pass engineers and then slowly build up 12at to suit what I'm chasing :P is there a certain power your aiming for? Or more just whatever? Next time I'm over in s.a I'd love to come and have a look at this thing :y:
  14. Yeah we know that lol. That's why it's done already while trevor's still in melb. His coming up this weekend to check out the room and that. Remember were making the inlet now to so we should hopefully have some more room then you :P finished merge collector :y:
  15. Yeah pirelli do a good 225/60/15 :P and at a decent price. So I see where your coming from mate. And you've inspired me to. I'll be on the lookout for a 12a for mine once funds permit. I know I've changed minds alot in my thread lol. But just been told on ausrotary that I can get a 12at to be reliable and take 300rwkw with ease and have plenty of scope for more if wanted. But mine will be through a 4 speed jatco. You have a very inspirational car mate :y:
  16. Ok got the merge collector made up :P made nice and wide to try and get it down low like taz_rx's
  17. The 38's also have the door intrusion bars hey? Where as a ke36 doesn't? My blue ke36 when I had it in canberra on the rego papers it was 860kg. And my purple one was last regoed in Vic and is 900kg on the rego papers. Go figure an extra 40kg from changing states lol
  18. Guard looks good mate :P. I thought a ke20 could take a wider tyre then a 235? Just from what I've heard never checked on my old one. But my ke36 I think from memory I measuered them to be able to just take a 275 if the offset was perfect however.
  19. What engine is the turbo off?
  20. Whoa. That's heavier then a vlt. Mate of mine loves this car. His got a Cressida that he'd love to put a 1jzgte into. But prob won't happen as it's his daily and his a just qualified mechanic at 22 that's just bought a house with his mrsand they already got a project car each lol. Keep up the top work mate. Love this car. Especially it's sleeper appeal :P Matt
  21. engine bay pics?
  22. Is she going to let ya take this one of her? Lol. 500hp nice round number :P what do these cressida's weigh?
