No good mate. Got it back into the garage now. Thinking I might get started with the wiring while I wait for me mate to bring back my engine lift so I can make up the mounts. Planning to do everything I can that's not going to really cost me anything while I save some money up. Got a big ass unexpected phone bill so broke for the time being. Meh shit happens.

a mate's borrowing my engine lift so have not been able to lift it out yet to get the mount's made up. and finish it off mate. it'll be worth it all when you finally get to drive it.

pretty sure my cousin still hasn't touched it. i told him that i wanted it back and he wouldn't let me bring it back until he finishes it. and at this rate i'll have my license back before it's even rubbed back.

A headgasket is not part of the bottom end. And a blown headgasket does not mean a f@$ked motor either.

like the sound of the power the falcon sohc can make on a stock motor :) got a collection nice of gearbox's there lol. hopefully they last a while so you don't get sick of replacing them to quick.

i don't think phil cares about the bodywork when his only stripping it anyways. that's a pity, i wanna try a drift day at some stage :) see if i can bust the gearbox lol. goodluck with the new rig mate.

i did canberra to qld and back in my old ke36 with no spare and no tools and also no sound system and a 95db exhaust. in 2 days. drove there straight, slept the night drove back home straight. and a heap of canberra to wodonga and back in the same car. and then swapped it for my falcon and drove it from way to coonabarabran where slw42 then drove it to brisbane. all this in a car that once broke down in macca's drive though on me and wouldn't start again untill several hours later lol.

looking good man. you like shiny things hey. how come your running the water to the other side? also i have heard that heat wrap is prone to making thing's crack prematurely, as they keep excess heat in. heat/extreme coating is the way to go. does cost more, but that's for a reason ;)

I asked about ke36 venetians and they told me they would have them available in a week and listed. That was almost a month ago and they still have not been listed.
