whatever trevor.... the engines are designed around the rev limit and the way they are designed will make max power between 7k 7.5k yes the engine will be better off doing 9-10k if it was designed tio do so... nascar for example. anyway selling my commodore should be gone this week and will give me some cash for the corolla. i have a fair pile of parts building up but i need $8000 for my shocks and thats what the hold up has been so once the commodore is gone i get my shocks then we are full steam ahead. i also got another racepak dash to replace my old one.

I really havnt helped him just guided hat to do and welded the diff this weekend where doing some adjustable lcas and putting my front shocks in it and slotted rotors etc

got some steering starting to happen. and bought some shocks for the rear from the states, nice ol coilover ohlins-

Personally I've never seen one go faster then a mainframe lap record at any track.... And the power curve drops off at 7500rpm so how would more revs make them better?

Could you Please explain when they turn into a monster with the limiter lifted?

did some stuff, made the new engine mounts just a few gussets to be added once there jetcut out, and the diff is joined which is good :) need shocks of some sort of the coilover breed and make a panhard rod mount and new panhard bar and also i need some spacers for the rodends cause they can go sideways and stuff. and the front coilovers should be here tuesday and o forget what else is coming but by this time next week it will roll and maybe even have the gearbox fully mounted :)

see i promise I'm getting this beast going soon :) trying my hardest haha!! it will be a drift car for a couple years then once i get some cash flow happening look out V8SC lap records ;)

okay so heres where I'm at!! the budget has gone cause i bought the commodore but i got a heap of inspiration over the new year to get my 70 going.... so to do it cheap and not spend heaps it will have ls1 r31 diff cause its ready and I'm too lazy with the 9" , 15's 9-10 rear and 8 front and I'm going drifting cause I'm silly and i rekon i might just go not too bad plus it will be fun away from the stress of circuit racing haha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so watch this space!!!

ok so cnc machined rear floating hubs turned up earlier this week which is good :) and the commodore got some harrops front and rear

caster makes everything better. the limiting factor is when your arms arnt strong enough to turn the wheel... Camber, depending on use and how much you care about your tyres on the road you shouldnt need any more then -3degrees but maybe 1.5 to 2 might be better on street stuff.. and with toe for street 2mm out is fine. track only car weve had v8 supercars around 10mm out sometimes but around 4-6mm out should do the trick zero or in will make it twitchy in a straight line. i ran like 8mm out on my ke70 at its last outing at winton.

The ke70 has some neat 1-7/8 primary's into 3" collector Extractors good for 600hp ;)
