  2. maybe leave the sparklers out for a couple of days and let the rest of the lectrical thingys dry out, beware though there will most probly be many bits of water in the oil :) I can forsee an oil change :S
  3. looking at the 4AGE, and what I remember from being at the wreakers and looking at the AE92 they were different, I am assuming that the 4AGE was the premium engine for the corolla's and not all AE92's have them. :) :S :D
  4. I see adds for AE92 with crap bodys for $150, I will wait untill I have the cash handy and buy one. I rang the wreakers and priced the 4AGE = around $700 up to $1300 with box :)
  5. is there much difference in the boxes? and what about the drive shafts if I use the box that comes with the 4AGE
  6. thanks for your info I will call the wreakers and ask how much for a 4AGE engine. what is the power diference between my 4A-C and the 4AGE?
  7. I like the 4AGE idea . now I must do a google to see what it is, I am guessing a DOHC 1600cc. And how will it go in a frount wheel drive? or is the engine that AE82 seakers came out with? I read that this enginge will fit AE82 and AE92, is it the starndard enginge for the AE92?

When I see hoons on the road doing silly speeds, I think to myself they must be in a hurry to get to hospital, cause if they keep driving that way that is where they may end up. :) maybe he was in a hurry to get to hospital Don't get me wrong I do have a streak of hoon in me, however I back off when I hit the speed limit.

  10. a friend owns a sprinter and I had trouble figuing out why her battery was not charging, I thought it was dead. However it turned out to be lose earth. I think Love has a good point

  13. If you feel adventurous, Gregory will tell you how to recondition your alt. Gregory helped me to recondition my starter motor on my AE82 when it stoped working, I am sure he wont mind helping you

  15. I see that stickers are avalible, I think it is important for all members to have one; I seen this address on a rolla in asply on gympy Rd and is how I found this forum... I will be getting one. I have an IDEAR Teddy, what if you did up little flyers for rolla club and us members stuck them on windscreans of rolla's around the city or where ever we see a rolla :wink:
  16. how much does the paint and thinners and assorted useables cost on average for a respray?
  17. my last post said that the pinging has cesed because I used a friends timing light and set the timing to 9 degrese
  18. my car is stock standard, if I went on a track I would be eating dust, and being FWD on a skid pan would be quite boring. I would not mind being a spectator though.

  24. realy falied on stigma so I hooked up a jumerlead from the battery to one of the lights, heck both came on. and my corolla passed with all 4 wheels done up finger tight. wobble wobble. rust holes in the boot. chopped out gearbox. I will edit this when I think of more
