  1. When ever you get a miss you can find, replace the spark plugs first, i not long ago fix a car that was running bad and had been at a mechanics fo 3 years (wasnt high on the list of todo's) and all it was was a fowled spark plug.
  2. ok about the same speed as mine. What is the blower you are using? depends on what it is i maybe intrested in buying it when you are ready to sell it.

Need more pics, I'm very intrested in the blower and how you get any speed from a 4.3 diff, Ive got a 4door with v6 and supra 5 speed, but my top speed is 151km and best quater is 14.6 with a 4.11 and the thing sits on the rev limiter almost every gear or is yours just a burnout car? What front strus are you using and springs and does it handle, mine doesnt, all mine wants to do is doughnuts.
  4. psi amount doesnt really matter, its how much air the turbo can move not the pressure, you can have a small turbo making 15psi or a bigger turbo making 7psi and the engine will be making the same power. I used 2.25 inch piping in and out for my supercharger setup and huge FMI on 2t-geu seemed to work well.

    Just like to remind people that the FMIC on a 4AGZE is in between the engine and throttlebody and if you blow off a pipe or get damage on the cooler the car will act as if its full throttle. So less rubber joins is good :lolcry:

Glad to see so many people make the effort to come to todays meeting NOT, As nobody showed up today, I'm not going to waste my time anymore with meetings, it the second one in a row, nobody else seems intrested. That is sad, like its a hour or two on a sunday every 4 weeks approx, you people would spend 4x that in the loo over that time. the next thing someone will say "we don't do anything, like cruise etc", no its pointless gong cruising with 2-3 people but you need those people there for when more turn up so the numbers get bigger etc. enough said.   8. Thats B/S, I never told you to get a XF throttlebody. I'm using a XF throttlebody on a 4KZE and its on the intake of the blower, But it wasnt really nessasary its only because i had it. Thats also maybe why i have 2 in my shed not doing anything.

Doing a great job, But that is a long way for fuel mix to run. can't you spin the compressor housing around so the outlet is at the top so the pipe run be shorter? sometimes with a long run like that youll find when you backoff the throttle the engine will continue to keep the revs up for a few seconds and slowly come down. Now i bet someone is going to say, Intercooling piping can be long and it doesnt do that, Correct because its not mixed with fuel.
  12. Seen it done, but ran out of power after about 6000, as i just can't supply the volume of air the engine needs, in the end made the car slower, Just go with a 4agze to begin with
  13. So was it advertised as a 16V, i bought one ages ago for my 20V i could see in the pics i was a 20v one but advertised as a 16V. If is a 20V just redrill the last two holes

Is the engine block grounded and is the ground of the ECU to the engine block as well, One side of the injector wiring should read 12V +, the ECU will switch to ground, They shouldnt hum, it will only pulse when you have a ignition pulse, kill the fuel pump and coil, Pull a injector and plug it in holdit and get someone to turn it over and feel is its pulsing.

Thats why i went for the V6, No cutting firewalls etc, i just had to tap a bit of the tunnel to clear the CRS (castlemane rod shop) Logo on the casting of the bellhousing. thats it, you would be able to sell the eb and for the money buy a V6 and maybe even a manual box etc and like me have it almost done in a weekend.
  18. if your using a Adaptronic it will be TPS + MAP anyway, Nobody would bother using a AFM if they have the map option as a AFM has some restriction. But the Silvertop and Blacktop will use TPS for most of the metering + the MAP, Just beacause a engine and ECU came as a AFM or MAP doesnt mean you can't change the ECU and the AFM or MAP sensor to make it the other, My silvertop uses MAP. There is no reason you can't use the Blacktop setup (as the sensors will be calabrated, Because that will take you half a day to do for a start) and adjust the fuel points a little. The Blacktop setup would be a better start than the anthony kellam setup.

There will be maps avaliable for the Adaptronic for silver top soon, You could use the blacktop as everything will be set up, youll just have to adjust the fuel a few points, I am also going for the Adaptronic soon too. But great to hear you thinking of using one, i can't see you going wrong with that choice.

  22. I'm on holidays so i did a little work on the car's, I HATE polishing wheels but it had to be done. This polish is what i did the first wheel with, i ended up using another product and it was easier and did a better job, But the camera doesnt see much difference. Then the rest of the car needed cleaning as its been nealy 12 months since its last wash.

  24. My ke30 V6 rolladore has done a 14.6 @ 151kmh so far, Currently top speed is 151kmh as a holden V6 has a rev limit at 5800rpm

The reason more likely is you got some dirty fuel into one of the injectors or one injector has a meltdown and the injector isnt firing correctly so its a lean cylinder, that will make it ping and pre detonate, my last 20v did this same thing, as the cylinder is lean the plug gets very hot and starts pre detonating the fuel going into the cylinder, i found mine by pulling all the plugs and finding one was white and the rest where black. I don't belive its the octaine boost or the age of the fuel. Fuel lasts longer than 2 weeks.
