hey guys, went to a wreckers today saw 2 1979 ke30s :lol: a light blue and an orange if anyone in tassie would like to check em out, they in east devonport. good base project i reckon the shells of em are alright, just need like new grilles and blue one needs new bonnet lol only look if u real desperate ;) ALSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... i want to sand my car back, but what type sand paper i use? i wanna do the door panels boot and bonet, then get my mate to help me with body hints and tips please?

If i buy new seats, sport race seats for example ;) would i have to get new rails? need to know before i cut the carpet for my current seats, or wait til got new ones :lol: ;) or wont it matter cuz wont be cut much anyway? should i put it in now with current seats or wait? thanks :o

hey thanks, and yeh was better aye ;P uhh yeh i know what yellow i want it and everything, just think if i prep it myself ill ruin it knowing my luck, was gonna do a tafe course on panel beating and spray painting to see :) but if i can find a 2 grand place i can just sell my 89' telstar to my mate and i can afford it haha

Okay i rang up about paint few mins ago -.- One company said 4 grand for it to be yellow ? :) but he said others might only charge 2, baddd advertising by him but heh :fuzz: 2 grand itll prob be, unless someone in TAS knows someone? :y: :abuse:

First update on whats been done, this is just a few pics to show what ive started. think ima make it yellow on outside, lowered, better mags, and tinted windows. and heres a few other things. My sound system is getting delivered aswell. ^ New sporty wheel, feels good :) and door panels off ^ Door panels new colour, was brown. Need one more coat on em tho. Under my hood, only a 3k Auto. Had to get new rear View mirrors, mine were odd ones -.- My carpet waiting to be put it in. Leave some hints or ideas :)

I'm thinking of yellow, and tinted windows :) should look alright, dunno how much it be tho :)

Still on L's. and have to stay on freakin auto until my after my P's because my mum can only drive AUTO arghhh. but then ill def be upgradin it.. Also, Does anyone have any ideas for the colour of my Body? Also installed bost kit and steering wheel today, and my new black carpet arrived :blush:
