    Kose's Ke70

rightio, after a long break from the rolla after having no money i've decided to crack back into it so now it has a new home (due to moving house), and it is at a much easier place to work on it :blinks: so far pretty much all I'm doing is trying to make the damn thing road worthy again so i have returned the back of it to stock height and this weekend (if i have enough time) the front shall be returned to stock height. once all this is done i have a few things to get set to make it road worthy such as fix the hanndbreak, and diff after that, I'm not sure what i want to do to it i know i want to be able to drive it as a daily, so I'm just thinking a paint job, 4age conversion, sprinter suspension, and lower it again, and then i wll be one happy camper :(

you're right about the colour, i walked out from the shed the other day and saw the ke sitting in the drive and was like "i really don't want to paint you matt black". i'm thinking of going a nice red on it ( cause i love the look of the red ones ) nah the door trims are FARRR from overrated, they just look good in the photos :lolcry: mmm that's alot of useful information about the suspension that will be put to good use :lolcry: :lolcry: thanky very much now just need to get the funds up and find the parts :lolcry:

so i decided to start painting the interior today, just got the plastics done, but they come up pretty damn good changed them from blue and cream to black :) now i just gotta take the dash off and spray all of that, then that should be that, besides re-triming seats, and door trims

yeah i fkn love the look of yours, just looks so sick matt black.....i think that might just be the way to go onnly prob is i don't want the interior to look exactly like yours lol, i'll just try and do my own spin on the interior... and those door cards, they turned up smick, i might just have to give them a go myself

well today i decided to start stripping out the interior so that i can spray it black....but due to my lazyness i didn't take out the dash :) took out the centre console, all the door trims, and some of the plastics. i wanna re-trim the door trims, so that they're black, instead of the ugly cream :) so that's pretty much my short term plans.... also need to decide what colour to paint the car, I'm stuck between 2 colours, matt black or red. i was thinking matt black simply cause its so much cheaper, but I'm not 100% opinions?

lol that's what I'm hoping for, as long as this engine can take a thrashing, I'm happy with that for now. not in such a big rush to do an engine conversion anyways....$$$ aint falling from the sky at the moment

lol i think that might just be an idea, so i can have some fun in the thing. I'm still a little bit....eh for lack of a better word as to what engine to get. i mean, a turbo would be good, but so would a superchager. i know for a fact that I'm not gonna want to keep it n/a cause the thirst for power will take over..... so prob a bigport would be best...

f@$k i wish ROFL my lack of a drivers seatbelt means I'm gonna be thrown all over the car (also all this shitty ho weather), so once i get that done, i might just go out for a spin lol well i was thinking bigport cause a mate of a mate had one in his and said it was the way to go, but then i was talking to another mate who had an ae86 and he was saying that i should chuck an sr in... so pretty much I'm just lost, as to where to go... thoughts people....

  17. hey guys, very new to the whole corolla scene... i went and bought my first corolla 2 weeks ago, a 1982 ke70 in half decent condition  so just thought i would post it up on here to keep track on my progress, and to get some tips and feedback on the project i can't say for sure what exactly i want to do with the car in the futurem whether or not to drift, or daily....all i can say for sure is that i want it to be a nice looking car, that has that jdm look about it. so when i picked the car up it was missing a back seat, roof lining, and carpet however it did have a locked diff...which is a whole new experience for me, having only ever driven front wheel dirve cars. i'm quite sure that it's sitting on cut springs, which made the drive home in it....interesting (espcially cause i didn't have a seat belt :) ) it only has a crappy old 4k motor in, but i do have plans in the future to hopefully put a big port 4age in. yes, yes. the flare on that guard is f@$ked, gotta replace that one, and re-flare it the lack of a back seat lol so today, i sourced myself a backseat, and the majority of the interior plastics :) :) :) which is finally making the interior of the rolla a bit more respectable lol
