  1. what did you do to your KE20 this weekend?
  2. I’ll get some more happy snaps up this afternoon with a bit more of a write up. I did not see you on the Car cruise early this morning ??? but then it got down to 9C° last night & and that’s Bloody cold for Cairns, great weather for boost ! ”
  3. The "Normanby" as in the one in Brissy, if it is it’s a great little pub as I used to go there all the time when I was living in Brissy. Yep you’re right the drags were called off at about 6ish (could have been a bit earlier) on Saturday, but in having said that we had a good time. We are coming down again for the 2012 Winternats so hope the weather is better then. We ended up staying at Coolum Beach at a mates brothers place and if I had access to the internet I would liked to have meet up with a few of you and checked out some of the South East Corolla’s. (In the car park of a pub so we could have a feed and a drink and talk some crap about Corolla’s)
  4. I wanna see some photo’s !
  5. Yep, I have just read on another forum that it has a new owner …… All the best with your new build.
  6. :hmm: What’s the weather looking like for the weekend
  7. You have the right attitude …. Well done
  8. What do you mean?
  9. If I remember correctly when I saw this car it still had the genuine keys. Glad that you found a spare Toyglide
  10. Started working on my engine mounts on the weekend. I started with a length of 40mm ID seamless pipe with 3mm wall thickness. I also found that a Landcruiser rear leaf spring bush fitted the pipe nicely. I then cut the pipe to a length of 75mm on the lathe and a little of the bush so it would all fit together nicely. Will bolt it all together with a couple of high tensile 10.9 grade bolts. Landcruiser rear bush Start of the engine mounts
  11. You never said why you want more oil pressure?
  12. lol yep i agree with you there
  13. Hey there, I do not know what motor you want to up the oil pressure on but on a 4AG motor all you have to do is put a 2mm spacer under the part circled in red (that is between the part in red and the C-clip) or you could just do what i did and tirn that little part up in the lathe making it 2mm thicker. Hope that helps you out, All the best
  14. I’ve only just came across this thread and it is a tidy little car. :y:
  15. :hmm: Well it’s been like a couple of months now and still no power figures! (took a while to find your thread)
  16. On the weekend a mate gave me a set of crystal headlights which he bought for his XT Falcon, but he did not like the look of them (saying they spoilt the look of the Falcon) and said there yours if you want. Here is a picture of his Falcon. Well needless to say the old bomb now has a new set of headlights (now I can see at night). Here is a picture of my new headlights. :)
  17. Sweet Car’s with dish are tuff ! Keep up the great work
  18. Now that’s got some dish, what is it like to steer?
  19. Well the old bomb will be on the road for another 4 weeks until It comes off the road for the new motor.
  20. In time
  21. Well I did tell you to think "7" ..... (and not think about "Mr Shades")
  22. Here is a few more pictures of the thing fully assembled. Stay tuned
  23. Looked into this but all the switch does is activates a solenoid that opens or closes the oil to the VVT gear. *Edit* Built one of these years ago and the standard Toyota belt did the trick fine.
  24. Hey there Greenmac80, Well your the first one that has asked WTF is it (no one has picked up on why I have been machining the block. The answer to your Question is the block is a 7A high comp turbo 20v that will be capable to spin up to 9000rpm. I looking at going with the Borg Warner EFR turbo.
